My nursing class and i went to Autumn care of Madison va and helped there along with the teacher. Thats where we practice on people and stuff. I love it.

I became a caregiver 9 yrs, ago. it all began when my aunt was admitted in to a nursing home facility. my grandmother would go visit her on a daily and every day after school I would go with her and every day my aunt would be in the same situation. soiled, left in bed for hours. with bed sores all over her from not being reposition. So from tht day forward I had vow that I would become a nurse or a caregiver. I vowed that I would do my best to make sure tht every patient that I came in contact with will have the best care tht I could provide. it brings me joy that I can help them physical or emotionally. I look at each and everyone of them as my own family. I believe with tht brings out the best in all of us to want to do our best. my best achievement is not of any awards but the reward of being there to my best for my patients to put a smile on there face and for them to feel of importance and to let them knw their voices matters.

I started taking care of my grandmother since I was 11 years old she had both legs amputalted and was diebetic. Every since she passed I knew I always wanted to help take care of people that were unable to take care of themselves. I think being able to help or take care of someone's loved one while they work and they feel releaved that they are safe makes me feel like Im doing my job.

My ability to be a personal caregiver dates back to when I was 11 years of age. I helped prepare meals for my grandmother with diabetes. I cleaned her home and helped for 4 years. This has been a passion all my life, helping others. The only thing I have issues with is bowl cleaning ... I do not know why, but all other items I can handle. My most enjoyable moments is creating laughter and happiness ... Im most proud of my ability to adapt to all issues at hand when dealing this someone needing help. I adapt to any situation and I maintain privacy.
