As of October 4, 2022 I'm current with all COVID-19 vaccine shots and on Oct 4, 2022 I got the newest booster shot. I have been a IP ( Independent Provider ) Hospice/CNA nurse for 10 plus years now after obtaining my license in 2011. But been a caregiver for over twenty years now. My certification includes experience working with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Cancer, Autism, Mental Health, Nurse Delegation, Sundowner's, Stroke/Brain Bleed, Stroke with AFO brace, Cerebral Palsy, PSP ( Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) and Diabetes. I am CPR certified. I have my own transportation, non smoker, and have a clean driving record. I love working with people, but my passion is to work with senior citizens. I enjoy reading, cooking, scrapbooking, listening to music, love doing puzzles and playing with my three small dogs. I am handy in both house and yard work. The part I love most about what I do is the smiles and enjoyment that I can see on my clients faces from the care and help I give them. My most recent work has consisted of taking care of a ninety-six year old sweet lady with Dementia/cancer. Since I was a very young girl when asked what I want to do I've always been able to respond in the same way: I want to help people. I've always been driven to grow and improve. I've tried many different jobs through out my life and have found the most satisfaction in caring for others. I enjoy helping others in any way I can. I'm a single mom of an 11 year old boy. I've been a CNA since 2001. I've gone to school at PCC, specializing in gerontology, end of life care, and dementia. I've worked in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in home. I'm a hard worker and am always trying to come up with new ways to improve the lives of the ones I care for.

Hello! My name is Litea Oko. I grew up going with my mom to caregiving jobs at the age of 8. I always admired how she loved her job and how her patients were like family because she would work for them for years. Until my mom got diagnosed with cancer 2010 and I had to grow up faster than usual kids. 2012 came to be the saddest days of my life and that was my mom passed. Nothing better than doing what me and my mom loves is helping others. My personal achievement of all this is having smiling clients/family! :)

I am a caring, loving individual that loved my job & took it very serious & personal. I helped both husband & wife to get back to themselves when they got a cold or was just having a bad day. Out of the 8 & half years I worked their I only missed a total of 5days had to be very dependable it was only 1 other lady who worked there different shift relieved me to go home & I relieved her to go home until the granddaughter came to help us out. I don't have any kids I am available anytime, I would love to be a caregiver again I believe it's my calling just haven't had another opportunity to do so. I even worked on most holidays unless I scheduled to be off to be with family. I just moved to Washington almost two weeks ago am currently at Foster Farms until I can get another caregiver opportunity if I am given a chance I would like to put in two wks notice thank you for letting me share part of my life.
