This is what I have a passion for I've been doing this job for the past 20 years, I am a certified nursing assistant. I love taking care of elderly people children and I the experience how to care for hospice patienta, and Alzheimer, Dementia patient Bathing and shower, prepare a meals and Medications Reminder, Transportations, Companionship, feeding and Shopping grocery, Housekeeping house organization,I'm a very responsible person ,friendly, lovely caring person and Trust worthy, and I'm on time ability to do all my job.

When my mother was ill, I was the one she would call to make her scrambled eggs. I took her to the swimming pool and hot tub to get exercise and relaxation. I cut her hair, took her to doctor's appointments and then lunch, and generally gave her some companionship. As I dusted her knickknacks, she told me where each was from. Mom died in 2002. When dad was ailing, some of my family tried to move him into assisted living, but he wanted to stay in his own home. I gave up my apartment and moved in with him, while working in publishing during the day. We had a great time together for a year and a half. Just after he died, I lost my job because I had spent too much time with dad. That evening, the daughter of a neighbor I'd assisted over the years called me, asking if I could help her mother. That began years of caregiving in which I have helped people stay in their homes, and enjoy life. I've brought my keyboard and played hymns and popular songs, singing with them and laughing. As a caregiver, I am simply happy to help my people stay in their own familiar setting. I believe the way I interact with them makes them happy. And my cooking makes them extremely happy! I built my cooking experience on my mom's, then learned to cook for fewer than 8 people! I edited three "Taste of the Country" cookbooks, working with a professional dietician who taught me many ways to fit dietary needs while providing tasty food.

I have been a caregiver for the last 18 years. I received my CNA Licence in 2007. I also have a degree in criminal justice. I enjoy being a caregiver it brings joy to me knowing I am caring for a person who truly needs me. I am able to do my CNA duties along with providing companionship.

I am an experienced caregiver. I have been working in the caregiving field for approximately 5 years. I am also completing my bachelor's degree in Social Work. I will graduate in May. I do have references.

Through personal experience with both my grandmothers, we found it difficult to find good quality and reliable care. Starting in High school I took a medical terminology course , and from there my interest in the medical field grew. I took the CNA course through Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville and LOVED IT! I opted to take the additional Advance Nursing Assistant course. I have worked in many different environment such as nursing homes, hospital and Home Health. After 3 years I decided to open my own business become licensed and insured to provide Care for others in their Home and it's been the Best discission of my life!!

I love working with people. I enjoy helping people, it makes me happy when I can help someone do something. I have experience in a lot of things and as each day come and go im still learning new things. Im also willing to learn about new/different diseases, so if you give me a chance i will do my best and i learn quick which is a plus.

I love being a caregiver because I love helping people , people get older and can't take care of themselves and I love being there when they can't do things like they used to anymore.

I became A caregiver because I care, I've always like helping people, when my father passed, I moved in with my mother, and there I realized how much I was needed there, then thought to myself how there probably other families out there that aren't that lucky enough that there able to take care of there loved ones, so that's where I decided to help, it's my calling in life to care for people, I'm good at what I do, and love what I do, this is what I'm suppose to be doing , I have exspereince iim certified caregiver took classes, I'm very trustworthy and compassionate.

I've been working for the last 13 years as a C.N.A./caregiver. My experience includes a hospital setting with maximum of 12 to 14 patients, assisted living with one patient, and in a residential facility. My duties are: Assisting with patient care recording, vital signs, high/weight, input/output, collect and test specimens, report and record patients condition and treatment, assist with feeding and G-tube, assist with their mobility, turn and repositioning, range of motion exercises, transferring patients to and from wheelchair, assist with ambulation, wound care, dressing and grooming, bath, help them with daily activities, more than a job being around elderly people and help them, make me feel great.
