I have been a caregiver 18 years and completely love my job. I have worked in a few facilities as a(cna) but I love to provide care in home working one on one with my client. I take pride in going that extra mile to make my client and there family happy. I have a very flexible schedule which opens me to varies shifts . I'm filled with great joy when taking care of others, we can never imagine what life may bring or when we may need to be cared for ourselves. Hi, I first became a caregiver because I wanted to know what it was like helping someone in need. After my first client I realized how much I love being a caregiver. I enjoy everything about my job. I feal very lucky and blessed to have found my calling. I love learning new things especially if they are medical related. I have done case management in a residential home which included scheduling appointments, ordering medications and/or medical equipment, Interview and training new caregivers and weekly meal planning. I have worked with patients with COPD, hoyer lift,MS,Dementia and Alzheimer's and skin cancer treatments. I have also experience in hospice care. The bond that I create with my clients is a wonderfull experience. I like to bake and try new recepies. On my spare time I like to go shopping, do arts and crafts, read non fiction books and watch movies. Oh and I recently started painting.! I think everyone has something unique about themselves and what ever their talent is or was I like to get inspired by it and try new things.
