Hello my name is Gretchen and I am a mother to three boys. I have been in the elderly care and childcare profession for over 25 years. I am currently attending Georgia Highlands College for nursing. This January was four years since I have been going to their school. I finally am able to apply for the nursing program this fall. I have completed all my core classes for my bachelors, so when I do get my degree in Associates in Science of Nursing I can bridge to the BSN program quickly. I am CNA certified. I have my first aid and/CPR AED BLS certification and also got my TB test complete and it came back fine. I also got a back round check as well. I am trying to find a job or a website that offers CNA's that are not linked to agencies. I am also more interested in doing in home care/private care or preferably at Wellstar. I have wonderful references from the families and jobs that I have worked for over the last 25 years. I will say I have taken time off these past four years since I had became a mother again and since I have been attending school these past four years.I live in the Dallas/Acworth area off of Cedarcrest. I am patient, loyal, compassionate, trustworthy & a dependable person who has always loved to care for the elderly, children or anyone who is in need of care. I am hoping to find a private family where the pay is $25 an hour. There is a little room for negotiating on my pay if the job is right for me and my family. I was there with him from day one to the last moments of his life. I had two aunts and myself took shifts taking care of him. Then after he passed we did the same for my grandmother.
