Hello my name is Gretchen and I am a mother to three boys. I have been in the elderly care and childcare profession for over 25 years. I am currently attending Georgia Highlands College for nursing. This January was four years since I have been going to their school. I finally am able to apply for the nursing program this fall. I have completed all my core classes for my bachelors, so when I do get my degree in Associates in Science of Nursing I can bridge to the BSN program quickly. I am CNA certified. I have my first aid and/CPR AED BLS certification and also got my TB test complete and it came back fine. I also got a back round check as well. I am trying to find a job or a website that offers CNA's that are not linked to agencies. I am also more interested in doing in home care/private care or preferably at Wellstar. I have wonderful references from the families and jobs that I have worked for over the last 25 years. I will say I have taken time off these past four years since I had became a mother again and since I have been attending school these past four years.I live in the Dallas/Acworth area off of Cedarcrest. I am patient, loyal, compassionate, trustworthy & a dependable person who has always loved to care for the elderly, children or anyone who is in need of care. I am hoping to find a private family where the pay is $25 an hour. There is a little room for negotiating on my pay if the job is right for me and my family. But, also making sure I am a great fit for you and your family too!

Hello, My name is Jessica and I've been an LPN for 4 almost 5years. What made me become a nurse, is when my grandmother had a stroke which caused her to walk and talk all over again. I gained interest in learning how to make the recovery possible and would help her with bathing and other needs that I could assist with. From that point, my mind was set into becoming a nursing once I grew up and finished school. I made that possible in 2013, after graduating I've been working with geriatrics since I've become a nurse. I love working with the elderly, and helping those in need of regaining their physical abilities. My most honorable achievement is becoming a successful nurse and a mother of 3 handsome boys, which is my world. I am in process of going back to school to gain my Associates in RN.

I am a natural born care-giver. I grew up emotionally taking care of my mom who had a mental illness. From there I became a stay at home mom nurturing and sacrificing for the welfare of my child. It is a trait that comes natural and automatically. I have cared for many individuals as a care-giver/house keeper over the years. My longest job was caring for a bed ridden elderly farmer in deep depression. He did not talk, wore diapers, did not walk and aspirated when he ate so his food had to be pureed. I stayed with him for 2 years until his death. I am attracted to the home atmosphere where it is more comfortable to care for an individual in their familiar environment.
