I became a Caregiver in 1998 because i enjoy helping others. I enjoy talking to and listening to the awesome stories that clients tell about their life. You began to get to know one another and build a bond. I am currently CPR and First Aid Certified. I have over 20+ years as a CNA.I am currently in school to finish my degree in Education. Been a CNA for 14 years. Ive worked in a few nursing homes. My father has Parkinson's disease and being a cna as long as I have. U learn to deal with all sorts of disability. I'm plan on furthering my education and become a registered nurse.

I became a caregiver to help provide care to those in need. I enjoy getting to know the individuals and their families.

I'm very caring, loving and will go above and beyond to take care of your loved one. I've worked as an Administrator in Training Social Service Director, Dietary Manager all in long-term care. I have also been a business office manager in Psychiatry and was a Resident Assistant at an assistant living. Ever since I was young, I've always enjoy taking care of my grandparents weather I was painting toenails, shaving legs or giving a haircut or helping to house chores that were difficult for them. It always put a smile on my face. Not only do I enjoy helping others, but seeing the satisfaction of relief on their face on things that maybe difficult for them to complete or families with smiles that have stress relieved off of them is satisfying to me. I love what I do and I wouldn't do it any other way. With my experience, I have learned to be patient with others, listening to everyone, and think of all options or approaches before acting.

Because I am a very compassionate person, patient and fine seniors and elderly people very interesting to spin time with, the thaught of being able to help someone that truly appreciate the help we give. Being able to say I've spent 30s years taking care of older people and have enjoyed every bit of it. Whatever job I held in taking care of seniors and elderly persons I committed myself and gave a 100% to my job.

A caregiver isn't a job for just anyone. You have to have special characteristics to provide excellent care, I am honest, trustworthy, friendly, punctual, caring, good listener, patient and selfless. My happiness comes from helping others. As I grew up I took care of myself, as a teen I moved in with my grandparents so I could take care of them ever since then it's always been my dream to help others. Also I have worked in nursing homes and it broke my heart to see how residents are cared for. People seem happier in their own homes so if there is something I can do to help them stay in their home I will do it. Through the years I've had several clients, I have never had a client that has not liked me. I am proud to say that I have brought happiness to other people's lives and provided the best care that I could.

I love to take care of anyone who needs help, whether it be from a young age child who has chronic sickness, to an elderly woman with Alzheimer's disease. It brings satisfaction to my life. I'm kind, loving, patient, and very determined in whatever I do. Personally, I love to read and write and play the piano for a hobby.

To help take care of people who are in need of care. Being a caregiver makes me feel very happy to know that I can help others.
