Being a nurses assistant is what I do, I have thought about furthering my education multiple times but I keep coming down to the decision that I would not get that one on one time like I do now with my patients/residents. I am very proud of where this career as taken me and how my job makes me feel knowing I put a smile on someone's face and I was the person who was there for them when they didn't have someone to talk to. Everyday I go to work my number 1 goal is to make sure every single person I come in contact with get the best service I could provide with my experience and if I can not answer a question for them then I direct them where to go and also get educated on the answer myself for next time.

I have recently just became a license practical nurse this summer as I graduated from Ivy tech community college in South Bend. I have been working with children for almost three years now at Walkerton and North Liberty elementary at the before and after program and I have recently taken on a job working with special needs students at John Glenn High School. I am trustworthy, hardworking, and caring. I've always been attracted to being a caregiver for my love of working with children and special needs. It is so rewarding to see the time and effort put into something and having it truly make an impact on someone!
