I started young as a medical assistant..continued working in Healthcare on and off for nearly 30 yrs. Came home to be caregiver to my parents and continued in caregiving since their death. I am laid back, patient, witty and out right funny at times. I take my caregiver responsibility seriously. I'm punctual and dedicated. I have a soft spot for the elderly so my clients quickly become my friends. My belief is that all people should be shown respect and compassion. I am an animal lover but am allergic to cats.

I have been in the medical field for 13 years. I grew up in a family of Nurses, EMT, Firefighters and seeing them so happy to save someone or just to help is what made me love this career. I enjoy talking to individuals from different cultures or life style while helping them at the same time.

I first became interested in caregiving ten years ago when my grandmother came to live with me after a stroke. I cared for her until she passed after which my grandfather developed cancer from which he ultimately passed. I learned from the experience so much and through it formed a lifelong commitment to caring for others through their life challenges.

My Name is Pearlie, I have always had the caretaker trait since I was around 10 years old. I was the grandkid that wanted to stay in the house and help my grandmother take care of my granddad and the person that want a babysitting job in the summer to help out the family. It make me feel good to do for others when the can't or have no one to help them complete their daily living duties. I'm a medical assistant and Certified Nursing Assistant and would like to get back into the CNA side to have more hands on taking care of people again that is my passion.

I am a registered Nurse by profession and being a Nurse is a tough Job. We are highly trained to care for patients in all aspects.I will take any difficulties as a challenge to improve better. I am a positive thinker, passionate, smiling, determined and patients safety is always my priority. As a Filipino we are used to tale care of our mothers our elders our sick relatives. I was used to take care of my sick Uncle with cancer giving his medications and all his needs. My passion is to serve people and that is one that I am so proud of myself. I do volunteer work when i was in the Philippines. I was of the leader to do Psychosocial stress debriefing with those affected with the typhoon hayan and the earquake that hit Cebu Philippines and Bohol when no one seems to risk. I always makes decision with consultation. I am a Nurse In-Charge for 26 nurse under me for supervision and monitoring. I always have high respect to each individual and i can easily adjust to any kind of personalities.

I took care of my great grandmother 20 years ago. I meet new people and learn new things that would even benefit me. i took a very difficult case and they were a high risk for bed sores and have managed to not have a bottom break down and carried them through life with respect and dignity. i am very patient. have been in the field a long time. I've seen and learned alot of things. I am proud to say that I enjoy working with the elderly.
