Hello I am a certified nursing assistant and I have been working in this field for 15yrs. I am experienced in long term care, homecare, hospice, & assisted living. I have been trained to straight cath and pass meds. I love caring for others, putting smiles on their face and listening to their stories brings warmth to my heart.

I have always been a people person and enjoyed helping others. It wasn't tell after my mother became ill and I was caring for her. I realized after her passing this is what I wanted to continue to help others . I'm very dependable and willing to help in all areas and give personal attention with respect and compassion .

I come from a family that cared for each other at home whenever necessary. Our family stayed at home and was cared for by other family members. I got the best lessons on caring for the vulnerable and elderly that way. I have been a caregiver for around 25 years and love going into the homes of people who need someone to take care of them in order for their lives to continue to function normally without disruptions in routine that would be debilitating to them. I am proud of giving my time and energy to help others lead a more fulfilling life when they are no longer able to accomplish that on their own. I also have worked in many facilities and quite a bit of experience there.

I became a caregiver because I like working with the elderly. I learn a lot just by listen to them talking about their lives. My achievement would be owning my own home. I started out taking a class on medical billing. I later went to Concord to get a medical assistant degree. I then took a class on phlebotomy. After all that I decided I wanted to be a nurse.

When I am working with my patient I'll make sure that I can give them the best care that they need and make them happy while working with them. Hi I have been working as a caregiver for many years. I started as a CNA and work for more than 10 years, I currently don't have a certification but I still have the Knowledge. I enjoy been around the elderly listen to their stories and learn from them.

I'm a mother of 5 and grandmother to 13. I've worked as a caregiver for the last 15+ years and counting. I love my clients and working with the elderly. What started out as a job became second nature and probably alot of that has to do with my cultural background. I loved it so much, I paid for my own training and certifications to be an independent caregiver. I've had great experiences with those who I have worked for and with, along with learning from wonderful nurses and doctors that I've interacted with during the care of many of my clients. I am very proud of the achievements I've made in taking the initiative to learn as I go with each client, and each client came with various conditions and ailments, and some with multiple conditions. It has been a great journey of growth and connection for me like no other and I find it so fulfilling to be able to help our elderly population in need. They have been all like family.

My personality is caring, observent, organized, and detail orientated. Which is a few, I love to make people laugh and talk positive about what a person can be better if they are willing to try. The reason that I have gone to school to take care of others which started with my grandmother getting very ill. I took care of her until she past away and continue the mission to make every day count that the person's life as well as mine. My expertise is working with mentally challenged, and physically. As a caregiver I can help out with a simple task as well as a difficult one. I do light housekeeping, cook, errands like grocery store and take to doctor's appointment. A caregiver that cares and goes above beyond of the duties to make the person being comfortable.

1. What actually makes me a great caregiver is my willingness to serve others and I believe it's my calling. 2. I became a caregiver because, I have great compassion for individuals in need of personal one on one care. 3. Their are several reasons why I like being a caregiver. The first reason is that I am able to be there for individuals that are in need of help. Another reason I enjoy being a caregiver is because, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and after the cancer she went into remission. Shortly afterwards, she was diagnosed with dementia. Recently she was diagnosed with Parkinson. I eventually had to move her into my home and I realized how self fulfilling and rewarding it is to serve others with sincere humility. I feel that as a caregiver each individuals that I care for should receive the best of care, compassion, and the best quality of care that life has to offer. 4. My most greatest achievement is yet to come because, I'm looking to achieve more tomorrow than I have today. Life is a lifelong learning process and when you think that you have achieved your greatest achievement there is still room left for more improvement.
