I became a caregiver before I was 18 when my grandfather was diagnosed with colon cancer. I care for him until his death. After High School my first job was as a nurse aide because I knew then that I wanted to help people not by administering medication but by letting them know that someone was there for them and I will help in any way I could. I now have a small Home Care Agency (CORRI CARES HOMECARE) in which I go to the home to take care of elderly or disabled individuals who wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes. I have worked in many areas such as long-term care, Hospitals, memory units, rehabilitation, emergency room and home health. I don't just provide services, I build relationships with my clients.

Been a caregiver is my calling, i have the passion and the companionship to give unconditionally. I am a certified nursing assistant with 14 yrs under my belt also First Aide,BLS,CPI, and CPR certified. I am a God fearing human being who believes the statement " treat people the way you want to be treated.

I have been caring and compassionate my whole life, I've always felt compelled to help anyone that needed assisting in any fashion. The enjoyment that I get most out of doing this, is knowing that I may somehow in some small way be contributing to making a difference in someone's life at a time when they need it most. What makes me a great caregiver. Been a caregiver , for 13 years has helped me in so many ways .I have worked in hospitals, group homes, senior independent living , private duty etc. Why did i become a caregiver. My grandmother was very sick , when I was a teenager. Also,most of my time was spent in a caregiver position she depended on me. What do I like about being a caregiver. I love what I do as helping each client I have worked with ,Taking care of sick people that need my help give me joy in my heart , and it let me know they need people to work with them that cares.
