I'm 46 years old. I been married 19 years and have a 18 year old son who just graduated this year. I personally love being a caregiver. I've done it on and off for about 10 years now. I've always liked to help people and have customer service jobs but at the same time I knew I wanted to do more, so one day I was offered to be a caregiver and I accepted it and have loved it since. I was a private caregiver for almost a year and not to long after that I become a private caregiver for another lady for about the same time. I did get out of it for a little bit because when they passed away it was hard on me and I had to find away to deal with it because I knew in my heart it was what I was suppose to do and that's what brought me to Carelinx . Hello! I'm a kind hearted, loving person who never meets a stranger. I treat my patients and clients like they are my family. I wanted to become a caregiver since I was a little girl and experienced my grandpa going through cancer and his caregivers were wonderful! I wanted to be able to provide that kind of care to others!

I have always had a heart for elderly and children and still doing. I love helping elderly people. Sometimes it's all about companionship for patients more than anything.

I am a loving and caring person this is why I love being a caregiver. Caregiving for me gives me the opportunity to do what I live best which is taking care of others. The elderly tend to me the more forgotten group because there families are busy trying to live there life and sometimes the balance can be thrown off. Being a caregiver I provide assistance to other people who because of a physical ability, chronic illness or cognitive impairment and are unable to preform certain duties on their own. Having a caregiver means they can now preform those duties with a little extra help. I am also a great listener and I learn super fast, and I also adapt in new environments.
