I've been a CNA/Caregiver for more than 10 years. Helping/caring pts. is my passion and I feel getting rewarded by seeing pts. looks happy, feel not neglected and feel loved. I treat pts. with dignity and respect.

I am a great caregiver because I am passionate about helping others and interacting with all types of elderly people. I have been doing it for almost 10 years. I have the patience to work with all types of people including taking care of children because I've also been working for children for over 12 years.

I love to help clients to get as much I can to go back to independence, I like what I do because I helped my grandmother a lots,also I dream to be a nurse one day,but I stayed as caregiver,I very proud of what I do and the accomplishments,helping people.

Growing up in a family with an medical professional (my mom)I surely made up my mind that one day I would become a nurse. After watching my mom take care and aid the sick in her home, I knew I wanted to become more hands-on with patients. While still in high school, I helped my mother aid to the sick in our home, I helped with little jobs as needed around the house. Being surrounded on a daily basis by this kind of environment is what made me want to become a caregiver. After high school I attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff to become a RN. Although at the time my dream fell throw my fingers due to a car accident years down the line, a job fell into my lap at a home care/housing facility where I assisted the elderly in their home. I must say working there was very inspirational; not only did it open my eyes to the world, but it gave me the opportunity to help those who couldn't help themselves. This is what prompted me to further my education in caregiving by attending CNA school. I became a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and started working at a nursing home/rehabilitation center. I quickly learned that CNA job are different - but it challenged me to push myself harder and give 100% at all times. Now, I'm in school (lose CNA due to not renewing them because of school and can show them) to become an LVN I'm starting to see myself finally reaching my goal and help those in need. But as of now, being a caregiver is such an honor - it's all about putting away your needs to assist others. Knowing that a smile on your face can bring joy and happiness to someone else is priceless. The moments when you can reflect back and see how you have helped someone is what caregiving is all about.

I was a caregiver for 5 years. I'm honest and observant. Will take the best care of your loved one is this is not a necessity for me. I do this because I know there is a job to be done, and there not many people of my particular qualifications that do/can do this job. Will treat your loved one with respect, and will ensure morale will be kept high. But mostly, your loved one will retain his/her dignity with me as a caretaker. I also bench press 400lbs. This matters because Being physically, strong allows me to move patients with the least amount of discomfort. I can do things myself that most need two or more to do. Although I am safe when I do anything, and will not try to be a hero.

Hi, my name is Landi and I've been a CNA going on two years now. I have had an interest in nursing since I was little, I would help my mom when she was a caregiver. I have a lot of experience! I have worked at 3 nursing homes. 2 here in El Paso and 1 In Austin, Texas. I'm very dedicated and loving to every patient I have. I treat them as if they're my own parents or grandparents.

I first got interested in healthcare at the age of 14 by taking care of my late aunt. She was a type 1 diabetic that ultimately lead to skin issues and blindness. She told me Shirley you should be a nurse. It sparked the idea. From that time on I found people in the community that needed a little help to make their daily lives easier or better they would say. Later, I put myself through collage and obtained my Bachelorsrs degree in Nursing. I got a job in the Critical Unit. Unfortunately, COVID hit, overwhelming our unit as well as the rest of the hospital(s). At that time, I put passing my certification test on the backburner because I felt the need to be on the floor doing what I could do to help. I didn't pass my test in time and so I was demoted to a patient care tech. I am still working in the CCU as a PCT. I miss my home healthcare personal job as it allows me to connect and do something for people in my community that need help. I enjoy conversations and proving holistic care. Knowing that I am passionate about making sure my clients are comfortable and happy is rewarding and makes my heart happy. My biggest accomplishment was raising my two children while putting myself through collage as a nurse.

I love to help the helpless. I love that I get to help and serve the people. I became a registered nurse in Mexico. I'm a 47 year old male that loves to help people. Also I'm very a very responsible and very clean. I know what a person needs and I can provide the care.

I cared for my grandmother before she passed away , and i enjoy chatting and making the elderly community feel comfortable and making their time pass in great company . My time in healthcare has given me a great amount of patience and respect.for the elderly

One thing that helps me be a great caregiver is my experience working with people, I understand how to be open minded, courteous and meticulous to the task at hand. Through my experience caring for people, nothing is more fulfilling than being able to watch and help an individual grow and connect with them. A personal achievement I am proud of is being able to help my community with writing exercise programs and publishing literature into the international journal of exercise science.
