Hello :) I have been a stay-at-home mother of two for the past 7 years. I have provided childcare out of my home for the past 4. While I love my job, I am looking to re-enter the work force outside of my home. I have Senior care in my past work history as well. I have been a companion caregiver and a CNA to the elderly as well as disabled. I have beaming references and am an extremely kind and professional person. I enjoy children and watching them learn and grow and believe that individual time should be spent with them. I enjoy talking to the elderly and hearing their stories from the past. I started out in the the hospitality business by going to school for cosmetology and I quickly realized it did not fulfill my dreams. I decided healthcare is where I wanted to be. I am a CNA and for the past 2 years I have been helping my grandmother and other family members with their medical needs. I am a mom of 3 wonderful kids a cat and a dog. I have several years experience working for local agencies assisting the developmentally disabled with their adl's and gaining independence in the community. I have a likeable personality and I love to laugh. People find me enjoyable to be around. I would like to do private care so I have the opportunity to spend more time with my individuals. I am proud of being a homeowner and showing my children that at any age school is possible.

I'm a mother of two kids, one boy and one girl. I spend most of my days with my kids. I enjoy working with patients who need a companion in their live. I mostly enjoy helping patients with Alzheimer's, I find them to be the most amazing people to talk to. I enjoy talking about their past and their memories. For the last 15 years, I have been in the human service field. Whether it be with troubled teens, tbi patients, dementia, mental disabilities and so on. My heart has always been pulled to help others in anyway I can. I believe in promoting independence as much as possible as I believe it gives people some self worth. I truly care for people and hope to make a difference even just for a little while

My personal traits that make me a great caregiver is that I like to get to know my clients that Im working for and getting to know clients likes and dislikes their favorite food tv shows What attracted me to become a caregiver is that my mom was in a car accident and had a brain injury from it I had to teach her how to shower read and daily activities at the age of 13
