What attracted me most about being a caregiver is helping the elderly. I love to help them achieve goals and it makes me happy seeing them happy.

I started out in the the hospitality business by going to school for cosmetology and I quickly realized it did not fulfill my dreams. I decided healthcare is where I wanted to be. I am a CNA and for the past 2 years I have been helping my grandmother and other family members with their medical needs. I am a mom of 3 wonderful kids a cat and a dog. I have several years experience working for local agencies assisting the developmentally disabled with their adl's and gaining independence in the community. I have a likeable personality and I love to laugh. People find me enjoyable to be around. I would like to do private care so I have the opportunity to spend more time with my individuals. I am proud of being a homeowner and showing my children that at any age school is possible.

what makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I put my whole heart and soul into what I do. I treat my patients like family, not like a job. I first started caregiving at the age of 16. My mother was a caregiver and I helped her. I knew then that this is what I wanted to do. I love being a caregiver because if I can give my best for them and care is always from my heart. All of my jobs have been with my clients to end of life care with Hospice involved. Knowing that someone is with them through it all . I believe my best care is with dementia and Alzheimer's I have a big interest in this and love working and taking care of them.

I'm a mother of two kids, one boy and one girl. I spend most of my days with my kids. I enjoy working with patients who need a companion in their live. I mostly enjoy helping patients with Alzheimer's, I find them to be the most amazing people to talk to. I enjoy talking about their past and their memories. My goal is to achieve my nursing degree and move to help as much people as I can.

I have acquired a wealth of knowledge through my experiences, education and athletic endeavors. Throughout my life I have been gifted with the chance to accompany and help many people through critical points in their life. I am very resourceful, creative, patient, calm, quite and highly educated. I have been working with families and seniors in paid positions since I was in high school. I have been doing live-in care for over 15 years. My acquired Masters and PhD in Western Medical Sciences support the holistic care I share as a Yoga instructor and Ayurvedic Lifestyle consultant. For the last 15 years, I have been in the human service field. Whether it be with troubled teens, tbi patients, dementia, mental disabilities and so on. My heart has always been pulled to help others in anyway I can. I believe in promoting independence as much as possible as I believe it gives people some self worth. I truly care for people and hope to make a difference even just for a little while
