Because it is my passion to help others especially for seniors that really need help. Third question: What do you like about being a Caregiver? Ans. I like being a caregiver because I am able to help and take care of the seniors like my parents and make them happy. Fourth or last question: What is a personal achievement you are proud of? Ans. I first knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I was 15 years old. I started taking care of my great-grandmother in her home and absolutely loved every aspect of it, so I made it my career. I love to sit and hear their the stories of their past. I am a very caring person and treat all my residents as if they were my own family. My mother was an aide when I was younger and I always admired what she did and wanted to do the same. I love everything there is about being a caregiver, from the good days to the bad. Every moment, every day is very rewarding. I have two personal achievements that I am most proud of. The first one is my three children. They are my everything and my reason to get up every day and keep doing what I do. My second one is the fact that I am now back in school. I never had enough self confidence to do it but with the support of my children and my boyfriend I know I can accomplish it and be great at it.
