Hi. My name is Carol Darrow and I have been a caregiver for most of my career, doing everything from ADL's to cooking, cleaning, laundry and household chores to personal care; shaving, bathing, oral care and toileting. I lived my life in Lockport,NY worked mainly in Group Home settings,started at the bottom with direct care of physically and mentally disabled individuals which I loved to help them learn.Than I became an assistant manager for 13 years than moved onto manager for 2 years.Made the move to Florida and worked private care for the elderly for 3 years.One in which I continue to clean for,we have a wonderful relationship and trust.I am very kind and always have mannors and treat people with respect and kindness.I meet people all the time at my full time job and just love what I do!

I have been a LPN for 14 years and I absolutely love what I do. I feel it is a gift to be able to help someone in need. It makes me so happy when I am able to enlighten someone's days, motivate them to accomplish something that they didn't feel was possible and to help them with the tasks that they are unable to do alone. I take pride in the care that I provide and treat every one of my patients as a unique individual. I was diagnosed with Chrones disease 8 years ago and spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals so I can sympathize with those who depend on others, at times feel helpless, debilitated and in pain. I have been through those emotions as well. I feel it has made me a stronger nurse who knows the true meaning of bedside manners. I enjoy many hobbies such as Jewlery making, gardening, exercising, scrapbooking and my daughter and I do volunteer work for pet adoptions. I absolutely adore animals I find the bond to be very theraputic.
