For many years, I have been helping elderly people by providing the assistance they need to remain in their homes. Most recently, as my mother's health declined, I was her caregiver until she passed in 2016. As a result, I'm able to see care giving from both sides, knowing the struggles families can face as well. Because no two people are alike, my care focuses on the individual's wants and needs while listening to the family's concerns for their loved one as well. I have been doing in home care for about 20 years. I enjoy taking care of the elderly and I have worked with the disabled. I raised two children and took care of my grandchildren so that my children could work. All of my grandchildren are in school so now I need something to do with my time. I was taking care of a 94 year old gentleman in his home put he is in the nursing home right now. I did personal care light housekeeping and laundry for him.
