I love making a different in the lives of others.after taking care of my grand mother i developed the ability to care for people in need.When I came to the state in 1985 this was the job I acquired and I have being doing it ever since.I had worked in the nursing home setting,,hospital, and private homes. I have a positive impact on my client I smile a lot I'm open to communicate with my client, listened to there concern encouraged them making decisions if the can and to involve them in there care plan.i give ADL care, good hygiene,,cooked, do laundry, serve there meal but if client needs assistance with feeding I will do it. I do client shopping, take client out for recreation, make drs' appointment and take them to there appointment, medications remainder,or administered medications, reports any concerns to family member who is POA.It rewarding when you see your client condition is improving.Care giver job is rewording when you bond with your client and the built trust in you.

I'm a very easy person to get along with. Always on time and always make sure my clients are comfortable and needs taken care of asap. I enjoy being a care giver because I enjoy being thr person that can make someone else very comfortable and able to do for them what they can't do.

I have had great success with calming clients who are combative or aggressive to preform necessary ADLs. I also have experience with diabetic care, Cather care and those who are on dialysis including ports. I also have experience as a Med Tech.
