To me I view caregiving more of a calling than a career and that's what I decided to major in nursing course that way I'll be able to reach out to many. I developed passion in caregiver after taking care of my ailing grandma who just passed on a few weeks ago....bless her soul. I got so attached to her and the smile and joy I put on her face while walking the journey of illness with her, made me want to do more by giving back to the society. It was then that I decided to concentrate in caregiving as I study to become a nurse. The best thing I enjoy about caregiving is seeing myself becoming a senior's best friend, interacting together and gaining their trust. I became a caregiver because, I like taking care of the elder as I use to do for my grandmother. As they grow older they are more cheerful and like someone to be around them. i have achieve a lot as a caregiver, making my residents warm, comfortable and happy.
