I am very well suited for the Field of Care Giving. I am a CNA. I am compassionate. I care very much about my Client's situation in life and want to do my best to help them cope and endure with their various health concerns. Also, I have more than 20 years in the care of others with various Ailments. I was attracted to this Field as a result of my Mother and Sisters involvement as well as my being a naturally caring person. I enjoy making a difference in the lives of my Clients. I look for opportunities to improve their care in whatever way I can. A couple of things I am very proud of is being able to understand and communicate successfully with a Client who is a Stroke Victim. Also, finding a solution to help relieve the severe irritation of a Client's scalp.

What made me want to be a caregiver and take care of people was being able to for connections and friendships with them. i was my grandmothers caregiver for 2 years before getting into the health care and being able to make help and care for someone brightened up my day! being that i'm a very personable person i find it very easy to connect with new people. Seeing that i have made someone's day a little bit easier is what makes being a caregiver worth it !

I am a very patient and attentive person. The most rewarding and precious thing we all have is our time and devotion. My goal as a caregiver is to empower as well as, revive a sense of personal independence. Building self esteem and administering a heavy dose of reassurance, are my strong points. I am a Medical Assistant, I have been a Cosmetologist for over twenty years, so I have a great bedside manner. I am a Christian. I want to be that extra helping hand to ensure as a helper and companion that they are being taken care and displaying the highest level of service that they deserve. The satisfaction of knowing and hearing from members and their families of what a difference the connection, assistance, and overall compassion that I provide warms my heart as I know that I am making a difference in not only their lives, but they are making a huge impact on mine as well. I often think of my grandparents and serve everyone as if they were my own family. Building trusted relationships, supporting, and assisting the aging/lifestyle needs of members holistically creates a stronger community for everyone.

I love being around people, I am elder in my siblings, it has very positive effect on my calm and patient personality. I have worked in medical field for most of life, caregiving does not feel like job. one of the best enjoyable part of caregiving is, you get to hear different stories/experiences of the life. I went to nursing school in Pakistan and now finally i have got the verification completed from nursing school.

why i chose to become a caregiver is a thing that i love doing and is inline with my goal in life, been a caregiver helps, teaches and build you up in caring for people and even in home, my achievement is understanding how to communicate with people in need most especially with older adults.
