Another trait is understanding and help how the patient wants and needs to be helped. What attracts me to being a caregiver is that my mother has a caregiver that comes into our home and I can't think her enough for being patient with my mom and understanding my mom and making her happy when she comes in because my mothers caregiver is neutral so my mom will open up to her and my mom will tell her things that she won't tell us that the caregiver feels that she needs to tell me and I just wish that my mom would be more comfortable telling me things, but I'm glad that the caregiver is there for her. And I'd like to be that special someone for someone else.. I think the one thing that I would enjoy most about being a caregiver is listening to the stories the families telling me what makes them happy, and what I can do to make them happy.
