I have been a caregiver for more than 15 years. I am very reliable and dependable. I truly enjoy coming to work everyday and getting to put smiles on my clients faces even when they are having a hard day.

I am a fun, loving and caring young lady who has a lot of fun helping the elderly or anyone in need. I love the rush and excitement of being a good person to those in need. The smiles on my residents faces brings so much joy to my heart. A personal achievement I am most proud of is lasting a year in the nursing home taking care of over 20 residents a day.

I first became a caregiver when my mother was sick with Lymphoma. I love to cook and clean and have a heart for helping people in need, so caregiving became the perfect job for me. I am patient and understanding and take great pride in encouraging and helping people reach their potential for a more comfortable day to day living. I also have experience working with clients with cognitive disabilities and other mental health illness.

What I enjoy about being a caregiver ? I love to help any and everybody ... I love to learn from my seniors that I take care of . Overall I just love to be a helping hand to those who need it ! I'm super friendly and bubbly , and a good laugh to be around !

WORKING AS A PROVIDER/PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT HAS BEEN VERY REWARDING AND I HAVE GAINED VALUABLE EXPERIENCE THAT HAS BEEN BENEFICIAL TO MY CAREER. I'm qualified for these jobs since I've been a cargiver for over 20 years. I'm trained in the use of a ventilator is a life-support machine that helps patients breathe when they are unable to do so on their own. It's also called a breathing machine or respirator. I'm trained in g tube feeding machine and the maintenance. I am first aid and CPR certified

Some traits that will help be a caregiver is I can sympathize with families I'm working with. I understand that moods change, attitudes change, mobility changes and memories change. Another trait is understanding and help how the patient wants and needs to be helped. What attracts me to being a caregiver is that my mother has a caregiver that comes into our home and I can't think her enough for being patient with my mom and understanding my mom and making her happy when she comes in because my mothers caregiver is neutral so my mom will open up to her and my mom will tell her things that she won't tell us that the caregiver feels that she needs to tell me and I just wish that my mom would be more comfortable telling me things, but I'm glad that the caregiver is there for her. And I'd like to be that special someone for someone else.. I think the one thing that I would enjoy most about being a caregiver is listening to the stories the families telling me what makes them happy, and what I can do to make them happy. Personal achievements I'm proud of is never giving up.
