I started my career in 1993 by attending a State licensed class and being state certified to work as such. I have continued my education for 28 years now and I am told I bring great skill set to many homes and individuals. I have worked as a CNA in Hospitals, Home Health, Physical Rehabilitation Centers, Nursing Homes and Private Duty Requests. I enjoy them all. I've worked with Hospice,Alzheimer's, dementia, diabetes, strokes, obesity, bed bound clients such a paraplegic and quadriplegic, ALS clients, PTSD clients, schizophrenia clients, post surgical and more. I offer help with ADLs, showers, bed baths, exercise, meal preparation, vital sign checks, medication reminders, doctor appointments, and more.

The traits that help me to become a great caregiver is to be compassionate, loving, dependable, and trustworthy. Things that attracted me to be a caregiver is I enjoy talking with elder people and more so because I was the helping hand for my grandmother before her passing. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the one on one conversations I have with my patient speaking on past life and obstacles they went through in life and how they survived. My personal achievement is I was able to nurse one of past patients back to health in the length of 3 wks to a month

I became a caregiver in 2012 when a dear friend needed help with her crippled Mother with heart issues and her Father with Alzheimer's . Little did I know the journey would change my heart and my life forever. Elderly people are the most precious lives and often pushed aside. I gave up a successful career in broadcasting to work full-time taking care of the elderly and I go to sleep with an inner satisfaction at the end of each day. Elderly people are my world and I am here to do for them what you cannot do because of your other obligations.
