I started Caregiving over 25 years ago. I have always enjoyed assisting clients. I have worked in home health care, private duty, and caregiving facilities. My roles included caregiver, Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A), Med Tech and Supervisor, and Nursing Assistant Educator. Due to my passion for caregiving, I became a Registered Nurse in 2012. As a registered Nurse, I traveled to patients' homes, wrote Care Plans, and trained and tested Nursing Assistants. I have spent the last few years homeschooling and raising my children. I miss caregiving and ready to start my career again. Even though I am Registered Nurse, I am interested in a caregiver role. I want to spend time with my clients. I enjoy helping clients where needed, while understanding independence is essential. I love the development of a relationship with my clients and families in whatever way they build. My personality includes empathy, patience, and kindness. I like to be on time and take my work seriously. When I am not caregiving, I enjoy paddle boarding, skating, hiking, camping, guitar, and life.

I became a caregiver in 1997 because I want to try to help anyone in need. I like being a caregiver because I get enjoyment knowing that I am able to help someone in need. I am very proud to have successfully earned my Med. Tech License. I am a wife and a mother of two beautiful children. I am very dependable, trustworthy and respectful. I have been in this field of employment for many years, have great references, and would love to help take care of and spoil your loved one as if they we're my own family. This line of work isn't for everyone but I am positive that it is my calling. It comes naturally and easy to me when I am helping someone else with whatever assistance that they may need. I love being able to help keep their independence but know that I will always be there if they need help, with anything, big or small. I enjoy being that companion for them. Letting them have someone be in their presence to talk to, rely on, anything. I feel like I have grown so much in this field of work. Hi my name is April. I have worked in this field since I was 15 I knew then that I loved taking care of people and that people loved me. I always have a good personality and a smile on my face. I took care of my grandfather at home until he passed away and also both of my parents. My father became paralyzed after a hunting trip and I brought him home and took care of him that's how I learned trach care and feeding tube care. And currently I have an uncle who has a mass in his throat and I've been taking care of him at home since last December he also has a trach and a feeding tube. I have always stepped up and brought my family members home to care for instead of being placed in a nursing home.There I know they always are short staffed and patients can't get the care they need like they can at a home setting with just one aide.
