I've been doing this type of career for 28 years and love what I do I also would love to go get my LPN to further my career this fall 2023 then I'll be able to do more an help out more with my clients, then I can now, I wouldn't change my career for anything it what I've wanted to do my whole life and it runs in my family, and I intend to do for rest of my working life, it not a job to me it a career and it like taking care of my own family and love ones, my clients mean everything to me, I'm there for my clients to help them feel safe and comfortable with there ADL and being home, I am proud to have been in my career for over 28 years, an Im proud to add many more years to it, and have my LPN this year 2023, I also have both of my covid-19 shots so I am good to go with the covid-19, I also work with all types of care,

I am a natural-born caregiver. Caring for others has been a skill that naturally came to me. I am fun, loving, outgoing, and have a very big heart. I enjoy meeting new people. One of my biggest reasons for being a caregiver is the satisfaction you have at the end of the day, knowing you helped another person and left a positive impact on their day.

My story.. When I was 14 years old my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia. She declined very fast and my grandfather (already being 76 years old) couldn't care for her on his own. So my twin brother and I moved in full time with my grandparents and helped care for her at a very young age. Soon after she passed my grandfather was diagnosed with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, and my family was ready to find a LTC facility (Long Term Care facility) where they could care for him. My brother and I absolutely refused the idea of him being moved out of his home he worked so hard for, so we then continued to take care of him until last year. My whole life has been dedicated to caring for other individuals. Not only do I hold myself to the highest standards of care, but I love doing what I do and show compassion at an all time high, because I put myself in other individuals shoes. This job/career will be my career for a lifetime and I am an extremely family orientated person.

I became a care giver at a very young age i used to go to work with my mother and help out with what ever i could, i became a cna at the age of 12, and have been around the elderly my whole life,I like being a care giver because i enjoy helping people, and listening to there storys from when they were young, My achievement is helping people that need it the most and some of the eldrely have no family so i try to become there family and put a smile on there face thats my achievement making someone happy. i am a recent widow and i have 2 grow children and 3 grandchildren,i live alone and enjoy life.

I grew up in a military family and we lived overseas as well as the USA. I saw Carelinx was looking for people to be caregivers to our veterans and that caught my attention. I love all aspects of what I do. I love working in the home, and have a flying-under-the-radar personality. I like to be in the background when necessary, and otherwise be fully engaged. I was a babysitter when i was a teenager after taking the American Red Cross babysitter course. I enjoy being of service. I love cooking for people, and making their favorite meals.
