I've been doing this type of career for 28 years and love what I do I also would love to go get my LPN to further my career this fall 2023 then I'll be able to do more an help out more with my clients, then I can now, I wouldn't change my career for anything it what I've wanted to do my whole life and it runs in my family, and I intend to do for rest of my working life, it not a job to me it a career and it like taking care of my own family and love ones, my clients mean everything to me, I'm there for my clients to help them feel safe and comfortable with there ADL and being home, I am proud to have been in my career for over 28 years, an Im proud to add many more years to it, and have my LPN this year 2023, I also have both of my covid-19 shots so I am good to go with the covid-19, I also work with all types of care,

I possess a high level of attention to detail as well as a willingness to do what needs to be done. I always go above and beyond my scope of practice to help my clients achieve the maximum level of independence while acting as a supplement to their abilities. In my opinion, assisting with activities of daily living goes well above and beyond just personal hygiene and meal prep. It means helping the client stay engaged in the community as desired. Getting out and continuing to be active as able. I excel with clients and families that are looking for high quality care as well as compassion and drive to achieve. I like to push for whats possible and work well with a family and care team that is actively involved with day to day on goings and encourages client to maintain maximum health and independence regardless of affliction or disability. I grew up with my grandparent. As they got older, so did I and I helped my grandfather through his chemo treatments until he passed away. My grandmother suffered from a stroke which I helped her recover from. My uncle was also in a car accident when I was young in which he became paralyzed. I find joy in helping people live their daily lives to the best of their abilities

My story.. When I was 14 years old my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia. She declined very fast and my grandfather (already being 76 years old) couldn't care for her on his own. So my twin brother and I moved in full time with my grandparents and helped care for her at a very young age. Soon after she passed my grandfather was diagnosed with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, and my family was ready to find a LTC facility (Long Term Care facility) where they could care for him. My brother and I absolutely refused the idea of him being moved out of his home he worked so hard for, so we then continued to take care of him until last year. My whole life has been dedicated to caring for other individuals. Not only do I hold myself to the highest standards of care, but I love doing what I do and show compassion at an all time high, because I put myself in other individuals shoes. This job/career will be my career for a lifetime and I am an extremely family orientated person.

I'm 21 I'm seeking a home health care job i recently graduated from the American Red Cross LNA course and I'm in the process of takin my state test. I have a son who only has day care mon-fri so I'm only looking for a few hrs a week. Being a caregiver is really important to me because the joy of knowing I'm helping someone and just being there for them is nice.

I am a natural care giver at heart. Its in my nature to always being careing for others. I have always wanted to be a nurse so i can help others .caregiving is the most rewarding career. I have gained so much from my clients. I love people and exspecially my elders. I have always been refereed to as an old soul. Im extremely patient .a very good listener and of coarse compassionate exspecially for my clients. Caregiving has truly given me a purpose and thats been to make someones weeks, months or last years of there life the best they can be . There is nothing more rewarding then watching that happen.

My goal is to utilize my skills to improve the quality of life for those I care for.
