Since I was a very young girl when asked what I want to do I've always been able to respond in the same way: I want to help people. I've always been driven to grow and improve. This desire also extends out to the people around me. As a caregiver, I go out of my way to ensure my client's needs are met before that of my own. I've tried many different jobs through out my life and have found the most satisfaction in caring for others. I enjoy helping others in any way I can. I'm a single mom of an 11 year old boy. I've been a CNA since 2001. I've gone to school at PCC, specializing in gerontology, end of life care, and dementia. I've worked in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in home. I'm a hard worker and am always trying to come up with new ways to improve the lives of the ones I care for.

I am patient and understanding of clients. I enjoy assisting people while protecting their dignity, working one on one, and watching seeing daily victories for clients. I provide quality care for individuals, so they can remain in home surrounded by family and friends.

Hello my name is Karla, I have been a caregiver since 1998. Besides caregiving I also have a love for animals, dogs, cats, horses, etc. I live on a small farm in Vader. I knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I was 16, my grandfather moved in with us and we hired hospice to help us care for him. I was in awe of the help we recieved from these wonderful ladies. I worked in a hospital for 20 years. I started out in housekeeping then went to school to recieve my Certified Nurses Aide certificate for Washington state. I have worked in many aspects for the hospital from babies to hospice, emergency room to recovery. I choose to do in home health care when I moved to Vader. I enjoy in home caregiving because I get to meet very interesting clients and families. I enjoy the slower pace of caring for a client one on one. From bathing, playing games, Dr appointments, cooking and cleaning their homes. I am happy to do what it takes to keep your family member safe and happy in their home environment.

I have been a CNA for over 20 years. I have worked in every kind of field hospital hospice In-Home Care adult family homes nursing homes and I cared for my grandfather. I love working with elderly I treat them as if they were my grandparents I'm compassionate and caring I love cleaning organizing and I lost both my grandparents so it's nice to be around people that are like my grandparents cuz I miss that. I'm a single mom a three boys but they're all grown so I have a open schedule I can work any schedule anytime anyday and I'm just interested in finding a good client that I can be with for a long time.

I have been a caregiver for almost 20 years now I have worked in multiple places like nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living, in home settings, and even worked for a nursing agency where I traveled around and work two different facilities I even got to work in the prison for a short time. I am compassionate and try to take my time with everybody that I take care of I think of them as family. I have been told that I go above and beyond to make sure that my clients are safe happy and having a good day no matter the case. the thing I enjoy most about being caregiver is the fact that I get to help somebody, make their day brighter, and just give them companionship when sometimes they don't have it. I am about to finish my prerequisites to get into the nursing program I want to eventually get my BSN and be an advocate for both the clients and the workers to make sure everyone is safe they have what they need to do their job appropriately and to be taken care of it accordingly.

I first learned that I enjoyed helping people when I was 13 years old and started volunteering, then got hired in a recreational program for people with developmental disabilities. I am funny, compassionate, kind, patient and a great listener, whether it is verbal communication or body language.
