I love being able to provide an atmosphere of hospitality and becoming close with the people I take care of. I started doing this profession when my sister was dying of cancer, I took care of her every day during her final days. What I loved about doing that, is feeling needed. She relied on me for everything, to be her comfort, to wash her hair, to make her laugh and smile. From sharing childhood memories and jokes, I knew this is what I wanted to do with my life after she passed and I did! I am so glad you have chosen me to care for yourself or a loved one. I have really good communication skills and I'm really good at being patience with elders. I have a lot experience working in the PCA and CNA field, I've been in it for over two years about three years now. I really just enjoy getting to know elder people and getting really close to know and having a good connection with them. One achievement I'm very proud of is getting into the health field, I really enjoy my job taking care of people ! I have fun times, & it's never a bad day with my residents.

Hi,my name is Gamada. I have been caregiver for the last 8 Year's I loved it in the beginning and I still love it. one day I want to open my own adult family home. I have experience and right training. I use to work in the hospital as a cook for patients when I was in Minnesota and from there I start caring more and more for the patients even though I am just making food but it's beyond making food, I am making a difference in their daily lives and that's when I decided to become a care giver and I love helping people from young to elderly. it's some thing that I am proud of doing.

I've been in this field for 30+ years now I'm very companionent reliable I take my position very seriously I don't leave anything undone . I make sure my clients are satisfied before leaving their residence I'm good with doing any tasks I'm available around the clock there's just one thing I can't do is work in a residence that have CATS I'm very allergic and very much afraid otherwise I'm a hard worker.

I'm very much a people person & highly empathetic. I knew I wanted to be a caretaker/Nurse since high school working as a volunteer in local hospital. I come from a family of caretakers so it's in my genetics. I've done many aspects of caregiving from rooming patients in local clinic to skilled unit in nursing facility & Alzheimer's unit. I love geriatric care due to the respect I have for the elderly. They've earned it for surviving through hardships I've only read about & learned in history class, which brings me to the fact that they have the best stories to tell if able to. I take pride in my care & the bigger the challenge it is with not so happy clients/patients I manage to get them to open up a bit & do my best to turn there frown upside down raising there spirits up. I welcome new challenges & learning about something new especially if it helps my care towards my patient. Dementia/Alzheimer's care is my specialty.
