I started as a care professional in 1976. I owned and operated my care giving business for children until Dec 2007. I opened Delaney Care Giving in Jan 2008 operated that until. June 24 2016 when I restructured my business as a nonprofit organization. I am a true at heart Care Professional.

I enjoy caring for people & I am great at it! I have worked with geriatrics, infants, children, quadriplegic, amputees, & many more people with multiple issues. I have worked as a PCA, certified Medical Assistant, & volunteered in nursing homes. I have a lot of experience within this field for what ever help is needed. I have lived in Arizona since 2003, born & raised in Minnesota. Technical college diploma 2003, certification test completed in 2010, & 12 years working in a clinical setting. Pediatrics, geriatrics, & family practices.

I am patient, compassionate, attentive, reliable, and trustworthy. I enjoy feeling needed and being able to help those who can no longer fully care for themselves. Being able to put a smile on someone's face and knowing I've made a difference in their life is a true blessing. I have been a caregiver since 2015. I have experience with in home care, group home care, and working in a facility with memory care unit.

What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is just the one on one care I get to my clients because they become my family what I love most is that I learn every day love makes a difference. I've been a caregiver for about 10 plus years I'm a mom to an amazing daughter who's going to school to be an EMT I come from a family that is in the medical field my sister is a retired firefighter . Hello! My name is Deanna, I also go by Dee. All together I have five years of caregiving experience. I helped variety of people such as, disabled elders/special needs, people who had Tracheotomy, alzheimers, and dementia. People with alzheimers and dementia I only have 1 year experience with, so I wouldn't say it's my strong suit, but willing to grow in that area. I am a very understanding, and accepting person. It's a quality I really love about myself. I became a caregiver, because I wanted my work to have meaning. I do enjoy getting to know someone on a deep level and providing laughter. My first job was a caregiver, and I don't think I'd feel comfortable doing anything else. I am currently an in-home caregiver, and looking to branch out.

I was introduced to the world of healthcare and caregiving when I was just a child transitioning into my teen years. I took care of my grandmother when she was ill up until she passed and she would constantly tell me how fine of a nurse I would be. It was this experience that attracted me to the field of caregiving. Following this I took some CNA classes and it was caregiving from there. I have a passion for helping people and being a caregiver has enabled me to fulfill this passion. It joys me to see my patients happy and full of positivity. It makes me smile to know that the care I provide can make them feel better, and makes them feel comfortable, allowing them to feel loved and cared for. What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? I'm a naturally compassionate and patient person, and I've always been someone who others feel comfortable around. I take pride in being a good listener and staying calm in stressful situations. These traits really help me connect with the people I care for and make sure they feel safe, supported, and respected. What attracted you to being a caregiver? I've always loved helping others, and I knew from an early age that I wanted to do something meaningful with my time and energy. Being a caregiver allows me to make a real difference in someone's life every day, whether it's through providing physical support or just being there emotionally for someone who needs it. That's what drew me to this field. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? What I enjoy most is building relationships with the people I care for. Even small moments like sharing a laugh, offering comfort, or seeing someone feel more at ease because of something I did mean a lot to me. It's incredibly fulfilling to know that I'm having a positive impact on someone's life. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? One personal achievement I'm really proud of is that I'm currently in college and doing well in my classes. Balancing school and caregiving can be challenging at times, but I stay motivated because I know it's all part of building the future I want one where I can continue helping people in an even bigger way.
