I have completed training in various courses through The Public Authority of Santa Clara County, including topics such as the last phases of life, mental health, nutrition, personal care, pre-paramedical studies, Alzheimer's and dementia basics, first aid, diabetes, and CPR, among others. As the oldest and only girl among four siblings, I inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later moved into adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and different parts of the world. Each person is unique, and their shared experiences often come with valuable knowledge and lessons. For me, there is no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday, knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

I became a Caregiver for my Mother when she was ill. It was about ten years I cared for her. I like assisting people that are in need of having a better quality of living and be most comfortable. I get great satisfaction when I can care for someone that deserves better quality of living and care. I decided to get my Nurses Assist and Home Health Aide certification to do my job better. In the past I worked as a Pharmacy Technician and took Healthcare courses to better myself. I enjoy helping other people and learning of whatever it is.
