I am compassionate and empathetic, genuinely caring for my fellow man. I am a good listener who pays attention to detail, and I pride myself on being self-sufficient. I have completed training in various courses through The Public Authority of Santa Clara County, including topics such as the last phases of life, mental health, nutrition, personal care, pre-paramedical studies, Alzheimer's and dementia basics, first aid, diabetes, and CPR, among others. As the oldest and only girl among four siblings, I inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later moved into adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and different parts of the world. Each person is unique, and their shared experiences often come with valuable knowledge and lessons. For me, there is no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday, knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

I have 20+ years of experience in the healthcare industry specifically in the role of caregiver. I've always had a love of taking care of people. My earliest memories Consisted of playing hospital with my Barbie dolls and pretending to take care of them as if I were in a real hospital setting! I would bathe them, dress them, administer injections etc. That love stayed with me throughout my childhood to present day. Although I've gone to school and acquired all of the proper credentials needed to work in hospitals etc., I missed that special feeling you get via the relationships and bonds that developed when giving one on one care to a client which I felt was lacking in the hospital setting. I am at my happiest when I am able to bring a smile to my clients face through the services that I provide for them personally and I really enjoy providing companionship as well. When my dad fell ill, I gave up everything to focus on taking care of him personally. In addition to the clinical portion of caring for him we watched TV together, shared deep conversations and stories of his childhood and mine, I prepared his favorite meals etc. And when it was my dad's time, I walked away from it with life long memories that I have passed along to my children who I hope will pass it on to their children and so on!

I live in the city of San Francisco but I also spent a lot of time in my other apartment in the East Bay ( El cerrito City ) due to work and having a family members as well . I am a Licensed vocational Nurse (LVN) and a certified nursing assistant ( CNA) as well . I work with people with different types of disabilities and injures . And I have worked in several hospitals in San Francisco and in the East Bay as well. I am bilingual , I speak English and Spanish and i own my car . Care giving is something i choose to do out of passion, and dream I love helping older people, just like i love taking care of children too. because I always pray to live longer and old ,so I started by trying to help volunteering weekly because am in to filmmaking,singing and dancing which Is also one of my passion ,but The job comes once a while before i decided to make it a full time job due to my experience with older people, and people with special needs .So what made me a better caregiver is because I care for my clients like they are my own parents and family in a special way.My believe as a caregiver is you need first to love people as you love yourself,then put yourself in their shoes and feel their pains then you will know how it feels that they need more time and care ..

I'm good at what I do. I'm very reliable and I work hard. I started being a care provider from my moms friend and I enjoyed helping her until she passed away. I enjoy helping people that need my help that can't do things for they self. My personal achievement would be that I'm a hard working man I'm able to get up and go to work everyday without regard.
