I'm a mother of 5 and grandmother to 13. I've worked as a caregiver for the last 15+ years and counting. I love my clients and working with the elderly. What started out as a job became second nature and probably alot of that has to do with my cultural background. I loved it so much, I paid for my own training and certifications to be an independent caregiver. I got bonded, insured and registered with the state and I have several great references from the loving families of those whom I have cared for over the years. I've had great experiences with those who I have worked for and with, along with learning from wonderful nurses and doctors that I've interacted with during the care of many of my clients. I am very proud of the achievements I've made in taking the initiative to learn as I go with each client, and each client came with various conditions and ailments, and some with multiple conditions. It has been a great journey of growth and connection for me like no other and I find it so fulfilling to be able to help our elderly population in need. They have been all like family.

I can say I am a good caregiver because I love what I do. I want helping other individual and giving the best care I can share them. My profession and being a caregiver molded me to be a strong person and love the work I do even in times of heavy and strenuous workload. First of all I must say that since I have been a caregiver I have learned a lot of things as far as being patient, how to truly love and care about someone , because when you are with someone for a long period of time you really get to know that person and become so close to them and once they are gone it really gets to your heart . When I go to work I like to be cheerful ,happy to be here on this earth another day. I like to take my client out for a walk or out for a ride to get an ice cream. I truly love my job!!
