About me, I always wanted to be a registered nurse since I was a little girl. I didn't get that far the goal was to take care of people. I love what I do. It's not about the money it's about caring and taking care of people and giving them the attention and love they need. Integrity, hard-working, on time, pay attention to all details, and give my clients the compassion and love they deserve! That's me!

Hello! I've been a caregiver for the past 13 years. I originally trained as a LVN, graduated and found myself enjoying the more one-on-one care and flexibility I get with caregiving. I like getting to know those I take care of. I'm a hard working, honest, easily adaptable to your preference and routine, positive and motivated individual. I'm more than comfortable with pets, able to assist in all daily living activities. Clean drivers record, car and I'm fully vaccinated, boosted and ready to see you! I began my caregiving career as a skilled CNA in a nursing home at the Care Center in Oakdale. Once I perfected my skills and with the proper work-methods, I resumed my work ethics at Oak Valley Hospital in the Rehabilitation Center; and was promoted by The Director of Nursing to a RNA position ( Restorative Nursing Assistant) working directly with professionals such as PT, PTA, Speech Specialists, RNs and Doctors. It was my absolute pleasure to see my patients regain their health and return home to loved ones. With my acquired experience and knowledge, great compassion and kindness, I became an independent caregiver and have worked as a private caregiver for over 15 yrs. I love what I do. I have met many wonderful clients and family loved ones; and graciously, I have received many letters of recognition. Through my caregiving process, I have worked diligently along side Hospice, applying my nursing skills to bring comfort to dying patients. My goal is to bring a quality of life to my clients with much joy and with a compassion filled with gentle kindness. Please see letters of recommendation and summaries of some of my caregiving positions below.

Hello My name is Doretta Harden I'm a proud mama of 2 sons age 11 and 13. I'm passionate about understanding the importance in raising not just sons but men of community and they will be husbands one day. For 15 years with out hesitation I knew the importance of making sure my mother had the proper care so I became her caregiver. In doing so I did not know that taking care of my mother would give me purpose, meaning and add value to my life while I was giving her quality of life until I watched her take her very last breath. During those 15 years I was taught by her physical therapist the proper way of transporting her in and out of bed and to and from my vehicle. I would encourage her every day to take a few steps with her walker. I would transport her to all her doctors appointments every three months making sure I was her voice when it became difficult for her to answer questions. I became her power of attorney to I could sign her name when she could no longer do so. I stayed on top of reminding her of her medication while staying in constant communication with her nurse and her health Plan. I helped with bathing, Assisting two and from the bathroom when she could to make sure she was clean, and every evening helping her have put on her adult diaper and every morning changing her depends also making sure that if there were any accidents in the night making sure her bed stayed clean so she did not develop any sores and if so I made sure she got the proper aid to heal her skin. I always made sure her skin stayed hydrated leaving her feeling good and comfortable. I learned in through caregiving the most important job was companionship being by her side every day getting her to activities to buying her favorite snacks, watching her favorite shows whatever was needed to keep my mother in my life. That bond was be companionship for that Im honored that I was able to care for my mother because I was able to be by her side for the last years of her life.

I can say I am a good caregiver because I love what I do. I want helping other individual and giving the best care I can share them. My profession and being a caregiver molded me to be a strong person and love the work I do even in times of heavy and strenuous workload. I can give you testimonies and documents about the cases I handled. Let other discover who you are.. As I mention earlier I like to be a caregiver because I touch lives of people, especially the elders 100 percent I can make them feel that even in their last stage of life there are still people who can let them feel that they are important. The greatest achievement I have was able to send my daughter to a good school because of caregiving. Even though our work is tiring at the end of the day a client will tell you and will say....'THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING YOU MADE ME COMPLETE. For me this are acievements. I am Elizabeth Loberiza 54 years old, from Philippines a graduate of Bachelor of Science in nursing. Was an Iccu and ER nurse In my younger years. Then I change work with residential care home , work includes direct care. Type of patent DD, elderly ambulatory and non ambulatory. I went school with Direct Support Professional year 1 and 2..Then work with agency with One on one client. I have handled all kind of cases simple and complex. The only thing I can assure you off I can be an asset in your company.
