I'm very passionate about caring for the elderly. I'm very reliable, punctual, honest, patient, caring, understanding, caring and gentle touch, very intuitive and compassionate. I believe the elderly should be well cared for, listened too , understood and loved. I enjoy being a caregiver because I bring Joy and Happiness to my clients. I also experience Joy, Happiness and Satisfaction caring for my clients. My achievement that I'm proud of is I have been in Healthcare for 9 years. What attracted me to be a caregiver was when I took care of my grandfather with prostate cancer before he died. I always enjoyed being a caregiver because I treat people as my family members. I'm actually a caring, sincere, generous, compassionate, and empathetic kind of person. Growing up, i was close to my grandparents both sides(paternal & maternal) before they passed and had wonderful memories with them. They took good care of me for sometime while my parents were away for awhile due to their work. I also had few experiences as a Home Care Aid when i was still based in California before we moved in here to Colorado to be reunited with family. Being a caregiver is not an easy job it has a lot of challenges along the way, but it helps build your character by being a better person. You become more patient, understanding and compassionate when dealing with the elderly. From my experiences so far, what i like most is it's almost like working from home and you only have to deal with one person. Also, you share fun stories with your clients and build a rapport with them. I think my personal achievement that i can say i'm proud of was when i was able to help my clients the best way i could. I was able to build like a family relationships with my clients before that even until now there are some of them that we still keep in touch with . Even though they're quite old already, but they do still remember me and how i made a positive impact on their lives and made great memories with them.

Hello my name is Ashley. I have lived out in the country my whole life. I grew up helping my parents at Comitis Crisis Center. I have always been heavily involved in helping the less fortunate in the community. When I grew up I knew I wanted to continue helping people through healthcare. I am patient, caring and compassionate. I have always enjoyed my rotations in nursing homes and rehab facilities. I enjoy helping my patients thrive in their environment. My goal is to help keep my patients as independent as possible. I have helped a variety of patients ranging from disabled patients, cancer patients, rehab patients, and end of life care. My personal achievement I am proud of is completing my Practical Nursing Degree. I am continuing my education to become a Registered Nurse.

I am a very kind, patient, caring person. I have been doing in home health for about 9 years, I struggle with anxiety so it's where I feel safe and I know what I'm doing. My mom was a care taker my whole life and I loved the freedom and flexibility to work and still be home. I love helping people even if it's just someone to talk to. Adopting my son is my proudest accomplishment.
