I have previously worked in a nursing home with dementia residents and I am currently doing home health care. I am also CPR certified. I have some college experience and I have my own transportation.

I became a care giver when my dad had prostate cancer, I assisted him to doctor appointments, home health care and hospice. As I watch my dad who was a strong caring provider become weaker every day and pass away in Hospice, I laid on the bed beside him and I promised him I would always provide care and loving support to everybody that I could. I will always be his little girl. I feel good being important to someone, what ever they need..

I have a very easy going personality and that has helped me feel comfortable when I am with families and clients who come from all walks of life. I first became a caregiver while working at Shands hospital in Gainesville Florida, I saw a huge need with my patients who wanted to be at home but was unable to be alone and was also not ready for a nursing home. I would help them get set with equipment needed in their homes and help take care of them until they no longer needed assistance or the majority of the time until they passed away. This lead me to meeting nurses and doctors who would recommend me to other clients and that is how my business started. I have traveled with clients when they are unable to travel without assistance. I would travel with them to visit family or maybe a second home they own and other times just because they wanted a vacation. I have experience with making reservations when traveling, setting up clinic visits if the client has medical needs that would need to be addressed while on vacation. I feel like this is my calling in life and feel so blessed I am able to help others stay in their homes or facilities and be happy and healthy for as long as possible.

I have worked in a nursing home setting for the past four years. I have enjoyed helping my patients and providing for them. I have done a varity with them, whether its physical fitness/therapy, feeding, bathing, dressing, doing activities, and so much more. We give the encouragement to help motivate the patients to do better and get back to health. I would like to keep helping patients, but on a more one on one basis.

I am a mother of 2 and a loving wife. I work hard and love what I do. I look at life as a gift. I believe every day life is a gift and everyone should be treated and loved like it's your last. I am strong and independent. I can do anything from simply cooking a meal to total care. I look forward to doing more of the work I love.
