I'm a single mom of 2 kids, a 15 yr old daughter and an 11 year old son.I enjoy working with elders as well as developmentally disabled, and have since I was in high school when I volunteered in our special needs class. I am a very caring, kind person who believes that an elder should be able to live in their own home as long as they can safely do so, and I enjoy being able to give them that ability. I was a CNA at one point, but lost my certifications due to choosing to be a stay at home mom (while I was in a relationship with my sons father). I do have some physical limitations as I can not lift dead weight, however, I am willing to do anything asked of me within my limits.

I've also worked at my local library where one day I helped an older lady with the computer and helped her by walking her to her car safely, and from that day, I knew I wanted to help other elderly folk. I am bilingual and have experience with younger children. I work from 3-5:30 so I can work mornings until then. I love elderly and because I lost my grandparents in my teen years, I've lost that kind of grandparent love which I would like to find once again.
