Hello! My name is Brittany, I have been in the nursing field for almost 10 years now providing care for a variety of patients with individualized care plans. Peers describe me as hard working, dedicated, compassionate, empathetic, kind, easy companion with a big heart. I started off in this industry taking care of my grandfather who became very ill, I volunteered in the hospital and rehab center he resided in for 4 years, I provided care for him until he passed away. He told me I needed to make nursing my career as it's what I am best at and have the heart for. I'm a happy person. I learned how be a caregiver when my mom had a stroke and I was laid off my job Express Scripts for 27 years as a Registered Pharmacy Technician. I started working in a adult living facility 7 yrs and I've been doing it every since. I love it. Sometimes it can be a challenge. I've taking care of all ages oldest client was 91yrs . They had Alzheimer's and dementia. I give bath, clean house, prepare food, wash clothes , walking exercises, companionship, medication reminder, what ever the client needs required I'm flexible.
