Health Caregiver / CNA Inspired by taking care of my parents at home until they passed . My mother passed 6 years ago and recently my father .2 years after losing my mother. I have a great personality especially around the elderly !My passion is helping others in there daily routines in order for them to be independent in there own surroundings to feel safe in there own home is part of there wellness. I'm a happy person. I learned how be a caregiver when my mom had a stroke and I was laid off my job Express Scripts for 27 years as a Registered Pharmacy Technician. I started working in a adult living facility 7 yrs and I've been doing it every since. I love it. Sometimes it can be a challenge. I've taking care of all ages oldest client was 91yrs . They had Alzheimer's and dementia. I give bath, clean house, prepare food, wash clothes , walking exercises, companionship, medication reminder, what ever the client needs required I'm flexible. Hello! My name is Alyson. I first became a care giver, before I even got my license, when I was 15. I worked for the park district, working with families and then babysitting children. I even worked as a nanny for a few families. I also cared for children and adults that are physically or mentally disabled. I have cared for elderly people as well. I have cared for clients who needed a little help with cooking and cleaning to hands on care for those who had Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Dementia.
