Hello my name is Gretchen and I am a mother to three boys. I have been in the elderly care and childcare profession for over 25 years. I am currently attending Georgia Highlands College for nursing. This January was four years since I have been going to their school. I finally am able to apply for the nursing program this fall. I have completed all my core classes for my bachelors, so when I do get my degree in Associates in Science of Nursing I can bridge to the BSN program quickly. I am CNA certified. I have my first aid and/CPR AED BLS certification and also got my TB test complete and it came back fine. I also got a back round check as well. I am trying to find a job or a website that offers CNA's that are not linked to agencies. I am also more interested in doing in home care/private care or preferably at Wellstar. I have wonderful references from the families and jobs that I have worked for over the last 25 years. I will say I have taken time off these past four years since I had became a mother again and since I have been attending school these past four years.I live in the Dallas/Acworth area off of Cedarcrest. I am patient, loyal, compassionate, trustworthy & a dependable person who has always loved to care for the elderly, children or anyone who is in need of care. I am hoping to find a private family where the pay is $25 an hour. There is a little room for negotiating on my pay if the job is right for me and my family. But, also making sure I am a great fit for you and your family too!

I started specializing in this field like 7-8 years ago when my grandmother had a stroke, it's my love for her that make me gentle this is easy work to me. Hello, My name is Jessica and I've been an LPN for 4 almost 5years. What made me become a nurse, is when my grandmother had a stroke which caused her to walk and talk all over again. I gained interest in learning how to make the recovery possible and would help her with bathing and other needs that I could assist with. From that point, my mind was set into becoming a nursing once I grew up and finished school. I made that possible in 2013, after graduating I've been working with geriatrics since I've become a nurse. I love working with the elderly, and helping those in need of regaining their physical abilities. My most honorable achievement is becoming a successful nurse and a mother of 3 handsome boys, which is my world. I am in process of going back to school to gain my Associates in RN.

I really enjoy my work because I really enjoy helping people.My Mom was a nurse for over twenty years and I believe she passed the love of helping people on to me. Working with people comes naturally to me because I am a people person and I treat everyone the way I would like to be treated.

I choose this job because I care about others and I want to be able to help someone who is not able to help themselves. What inspires me is to watch my 70 year old mom get up early in the morning and get out there no matter what type of pain that she is in. I also love what I do as a CNA. I have always stood out in everything I do and that is what makes me a good CNA. By the end of the day, my patients and their families are happy and comfortable with the work I have performed.

I have 10years of experience as a certified home health aide/ certified nursing assistant combined. I have 5years of experience with Alzheimer's/dementia patients. I have medication management experience, along with light housekeeping, laundry, cooking meals, assisting with showers as well total care. I've worked in assisted living facilities, private duty agencies, and home health agencies, . I love working where my patients come first and are able to stay in their home to receive that one on one care they deserve and need. Working with families helps them get that break that they need from their loved ones in order for them to live in their homes.
