One of my most meaningful experiences involved a client placed on hospice care and given just three days to live. After one month under my care, he graduated from hospice and went on to live for an additional two years, reaching the age of 100. I have worked in the health field for most of my adult life. I worked with seniors and I love it. I relate to them and they relate to me. My last job was a sales job, but most of our clientele were seniors. They are so interesting to me. They always have great stories to tell and most have done so many wonderful things in their lives. I think God put me in this world to care for seniors!

I choose this job because I care about others and I want to be able to help someone who is not able to help themselves. What inspires me is to watch my 70 year old mom get up early in the morning and get out there no matter what type of pain that she is in. I also love what I do as a CNA. I have always stood out in everything I do and that is what makes me a good CNA. By the end of the day, my patients and their families are happy and comfortable with the work I have performed.
