Hi, my name is ShaRonjuante (Sha-Ron-te) I'm 21 years old. I'm am currently a certified medical assistant, and childcare provider. I am also attending South College to obtain an AS in imaging science to become a diagnostic medical sonographer. I have an passion in helping others. My first job I was a resident aide at an assisted living facility; working with clients with disabilities. When I was younger I helped my mom care of my grandmother.

I'm funny , like to talk with other people and active. I became a caregiver because since I was a young I helped taking care my cousins and my grandparents, especially being around my grandparents thought me a lot , I said to myself when I grow up I will like to be to work as a caregiver. Ive done home health care with the elderly. I love working with the elderly. I am very organized and love conversation. I have done everything for clients that's asked and more.

Hello I'm ShaRonjuante Edwards, you can call me shay for short! I am hard worker, someone who likes to stay busy, and family oriented. Things that attract me about being a caregiver is taking care of elderly people because of their sense of humor, their knowledge, and hearing about stories in their past! Ever since I was little girl I've cared for elderly people by staying overnights with my grandma and helping her around the house, I've also worked in nursing homes doing dietary.

I decided I wanted to be a caregiver when my grandma got dementia and needed help with everything. I would check in on her every other day until my Aunt moved her out of town and put her in a nursing home. Wasn't happy with the care she was receiving and knew I'm more caring and generous than them. I'm understanding and a hard worker. I let my CNA expire but still graduated for it with good grades. I only left Barbs because she died unfortunately. I was sad and upset with the other caregivers because they did not seem to care and talked down to her. But over the last few yrs we have a house directly across the street for brain damaged residents and today I just took one some bday presents and rubbed a cramp out of anothers leg so I wanted to go back to doing it. I'm involved with bible study to better myself and just got cleared as after 2 yrs of blood clots in my brain. I enjoy helping people when I'm capable as and have always gotten along with the elderly. They make me smile with their stories and appreciation. My personal achievement I'm most proud of is that I've been sober since 2008. I worked at a bar and was easily persuaded to stay and drink and got me into trouble. I hope you can see past that because I am a good, loyal, caring, generous, hard working individual.

I love helping people who need a little help with their daily things. I enjoying listening to people stories of their life. Being a caregiver is something that just fell in my lap. Housekeeping in a small living center I was notice with my interaction with the residents. HR ask of I'd like to be a CNA Did that for 3 plus years. Later came back and worked in Home health care. Getting the most difficult of clients to relax and enjoy having things done for them is awesome. I love doing it and I am good at Like to get back into it.
