I am a very friendly, respectful and loving caregiver with 12 years of experience. I became a caregiver because I love being able to take care of the elderly. This is not a job for everyone but I felt like I was born to do this job.

Being patient,loving, caring, compassionate, and highly experienced make me a good caregiver. This is what I have been doing before I came to this country. Out of 6 siblings, I was the only one taking care of my Mom with the assistance of my daughter who is now a medical doctor and now in the university pursuing her masters degree in public health here in the U.S. I feel so much comfortable taking of people either young or old. It is my joy to contribute positively to general care of elderly people. I personally relate very well with my client and their families, that most of them treat me like members of their families. I still have contact with most of the families I have worked for. They sometimes take me out for my birthdays celebrations , some calls on my birthdays, some sends messages on my birthdays. I think this a great achievement, because if I did not do good jobs for them, they will not remember me to give me such wonderful honors.

Hello I Been a Cna for17yrs and i enjoy been a cna i give quality care with love and compassion and treat each person like they are my only relative it does matter how they act i still get the job done i am willing to take the extra mile to ensure their safe and the happiness is very important to me would change what i do because i love doing it

My personality traits that would help me be a great caregiver would be compassion, patience, and dependability. I would treat my residents as if they were my own family members. What attracted me to being a caregiver would be liking to help others and taking care of my elderly family members. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is seeing my residents smile and knowing that I treated them with dignity. A personal achievement I am proud of is being able to persevere and wake up everyday to face new challenges.

I became a Nursing Assistant when my grandfather was diagnosed with Cancer it was hard on my grandmother, but once I stepped in with bathing, helping with light housekeeping around the house or just letting my grandmother get out for an hour or two her load was lightened it was a blessing. I felt giving back to my grandfather for all the love and support he has given me all the years was truly from the heart, he later passed away within three months then my grandmother was diagnosed with Cancer and I stepped in for her with just myself and my little children and again it was a blessing but challenging at same time but God gave me strength through my trail and made me strong.If i can give that to everyone I come in contact with am complete because it's from the heart helping someone with a bath, dressing them for the day, of just having a conversation means a lot to so many.. I love what I do and can give another individual

People come through all walks of life with different stories different identities, and different trauma and pain. But no one has to go through these things alone. And that's where I come in! I have four years of experience with clients/patients of different backgrounds, ethnic backgrounds, disability and disorders. Though difficult at times emotionally/Physically for clients. I have the Will to push through to benefit Your Loved one To the Highest Compacity I can. I find Caregiving the best reward to be by the side of others in need. Because when you give care you receive care. I am the utmost compassionate and understanding toward different needs and I don't disappoint.. because letting down your loved one is not an option. I received my certificate as an Advocate South Suburban Hospital Nursing Assistant Clinical Coach.

Summer Update [?]: I am free and available for the entire summer until day after Labor Day, in which afterwards, I go back to my schedule below. After Labor Day Availability: I am available late evenings, overnight til 4am w/sleep, & some weekends can be negotiated. What makes me a great caregiver is my patience and ability to take the lead to discern when a situation needs action or not. I have had many clients whose demands were very different but I adjusted right away bc I do understand the need for each person to have dignity and still feel as though they have a level of independence. I have serviced those as young as 38 with terminal cancer to those who were a mature age of 88 with heart, mobility, and respiratory issues, dementia, Alzheimer's, and bed-ritten, so I am well-rounded. I am a mother of 2 boys now young men and I am married but I have still devoted countless hours for my clients, even living in with them 24/7 and working 12 to 24 hour days, 7 days a week. I do not mind at all. I am gracious and love people too much. I will be a promising catch.

I have been a caregiver for over 17 years. I most certainly love what I do. What makes me a great caregiver is that i am very patient, gentle and sensitive to the needs of my clients. I am very caring and compassionate and that is what has drawn me to become a caregiver because people need care and they most definitely need to be shown compassion. What I love most about being a caregiver is the many different awesome people i get to meet and care for as well as their families. I was just recognized for being caregiver of the month from one of my current employers.

Everyone is always saying that I have a beautiful smile and I believe it is because they can tell that I truly enjoy smiling! I have a bubbly and very personable personality. I became a CNA in 2008 and have worked in both long-term care facilities and hospitals. Currently I work part-time at Rush University. I enjoy being a caregiver because it is a rewarding job to be able to support people in their time of need. I am most proud of being a frontline worker during this COVID-19 pandemic and showing the world that superheroes wear scrubs not capes!
