I am a very friendly, respectful and loving caregiver with 12 years of experience. I became a caregiver because I love being able to take care of the elderly. This is not a job for everyone but I felt like I was born to do this job.

I love working with seniors helping them with there daily needs. And putting a smile on there face let's me know I'm doin a great job. I have 20 yrs of experience from working in Assisted Living facility. Skilled nursing private duty one on one. And husband and wife couples who had dementia and parkinson's clients.

I have 13 years experience as a Cna and 20 years experience in the healthcare field. The reason I decided to become a caregiver is because of my grandmother, she turned I'll around 2003 and I stepped in to help take care of her. I think being a caregiver is my calling and something that I love and enjoy doing.

I love to be able to help others from young to older, did it half of my life. I live in hammond,indiana with my husband and dog. I Enjoy adventures and family time. Being hands on with a person everyday or week you become close and understand them. I have the patience, awareness of my surroundings, fast actions and enjoy helping others. If I don't know what to do I'll look it up or ask lots of questions. I been taking care of my dad for the last 8 years, every Tuesday I take him to his doctor appointments and I also do housekeeping every Friday mornings for the last 2 years. Summer Update [?]: I am free and available for the entire summer until day after Labor Day, in which afterwards, I go back to my schedule below. After Labor Day Availability: I am available late evenings, overnight til 4am w/sleep, & some weekends can be negotiated. What makes me a great caregiver is my patience and ability to take the lead to discern when a situation needs action or not. I have had many clients whose demands were very different but I adjusted right away bc I do understand the need for each person to have dignity and still feel as though they have a level of independence. I have serviced those as young as 38 with terminal cancer to those who were a mature age of 88 with heart, mobility, and respiratory issues, dementia, Alzheimer's, and bed-ritten, so I am well-rounded. I am a mother of 2 boys now young men and I am married but I have still devoted countless hours for my clients, even living in with them 24/7 and working 12 to 24 hour days, 7 days a week. I do not mind at all. I am gracious and love people too much. I will be a promising catch.

i am a happy person and always willing to help, what attracted me to be a care giver my mom has Alzheimer's for about 17 years and i took care of her and my boyfriend had multiple sclerosis took care of him for 6 years until passed away . i enjoy seeing a smile on my clients face in spite of their illness. my personal achievement is buying my home and help feeding the homeless.

Hi, De'yunka here! I got my start in the United States Marines as an Administrative Specialist. I decided that I needed a change and becoming a caregiver was something that I wanted to try. I am currently working for an agency and my first client was a paraplegic and she taught me a lot, from sponge baths to catheter placement. she also shared with me valuable life lessons and experiences that have helped me as an individual and as a caregiver. I've since added much more training and experiences and I can honestly say becoming a caregiver was the best choice for me.

I'm a very respectful and caring young lady. I enjoy helping people, a people's person and I'm very dedicated to my fellow residents.

Overall I'm a helpful person and always have been. It's a pleasure for me to assist and help those that aren't able to do for themselves. That's one reason I've gravitated towards being a caregiver. I get joy from helping those that can't. As you get older in age things become hard and most people simply just enjoy the company of someone. My goal is to ultimately try to work in a nursing home after schooling.
