A very experienced and competent Support Worker, reliable, gentle by nature, patient, understanding and empathetic. As you can tell from my resume, l am currently working as a Caregiver, with ClarityCaregivers company and my duties mainly are to stay awake at night and keep a close eye on the safety of residents, give them medications and keep record of what happens during my shift. Previously worked as a SupportWorker, tried to encourage clients to live an independent life, attended to their personal care, administered medication, and reported to the Program Coordinator. My proudest moments in these jobs is when dealing with difficult clients bt at the end l was able to get them to calm down and take their medication ( that is where my patience was exercised). I believe that with my excellent all round care skills including personal care, cleaning and meal preparation, being a good listener and communicator with empathy, patience and understanding and being Computer literate with all Microsoft packages makes me an ideal candidate for this particular job.

My favorite is to hear when and how or where they grew up. Its a warm nice feeling. My Mom and Dad both passed from cancer so i have lots of experience from taking care of them. I learned how to clean my Moms trach which i feel is a big achievement for me I sure never thought i could ever do something like that, but it was for my Mom and for her to be able to come home so yes I did learn that and would of moved mountains if needed to be. I would first like to explain that I have been a professional registered nurse since 1988. I have been retired for the last 5 years and have been at home. I am a very good and enthusiastic caregiver. I am smart, nurturing and fun to be around. I have always worked in high risk environments from trauma/ emergency departments to intensive care units and medical step-down units. I am at the point in my life where I want to give back. I am settled and wish to be a companion / caregiver for elderly individuals in their homes. I do not have a vehicle, therefore, would not be able to transport any individuals for any errands. I usually find an Uber to get where I am going. My hourly rate is negotiable depending on the distance I must travel to get to my job. My greatest personal achievements would have to be raising my two adult daughters. Both live out of state now and have educations and careers. I have a lot of time on my hands and I just want to make a difference in someone's life. Drug and alcohol free.
