I truly enjoy working with seniors. I have done so for a little over sixteen years. Seniors are a very important part of our society. Every senior citizen lead productive lives and had families they loved. Seniors deserve our respect and dignity.

I have always felt a calling and a passion for caregiving. I have over 15 years of experience providing compassionate care in Skilled and private homecare settings. I am a single mother and student at UMGC. Currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Gerontology and Aging Services and a minor in Psychology, and proudly graduating in December of 2024! And actually love meeting new people from different cultures and places. I actually became a caregiver when I had to take care of my grandfather at age 16 after my grandmother passed away. My grandparents actually raised me so I didn't mind giving my grandfather the care, love, and respect he showed me as I growing. I had to be his ears (he was completely deaf), did meal preparations, food shopping, laundry, and medication reminders. I was young didn't mind giving up chill time of my personal time to care for grandfather. I loved him very much! Took care of him until he passed Few years of me taking care of him. I went to school to be a home health aide. I thought why not do something I love to do anyway! That matched my personality and I can be me!
