I have the ability to notice changes In my clients. I have saved two patients for a doctor I worked for while he was having an emergency. I also saved a patient at a facility where I worked and convince the direct her to get a nurse. Because I have worked extensively with Alzheimer's I have bought many books that will help them. I am also a cosmetologist and help many of my clients when they couldn't get out. Some of my other accomplishments were transforming a students life, responsible for 32nd commercial on Fox 25, a sister young mother with her fight for addiction and became successful, volunteer reading to young children at a school library.

I have worked with both children and adults with developmental disabilities and during the course of this work I was able to maintain patience and empathy. I was attracted to the idea of care giving as I enjoy helping others achieve a higher quality of life as well as offering comfort and companionship. I enjoy seeing even the smallest of achievements and making a positive day for someone. One of my proudest achievements was working with a young man who went from hiding in his room to running a chess club.

After being in the veterinary field for 20 years, I've gained a level of comfortability with all things clinical and medical. I adore the elderly and have experience with Alzheimer patients and those with dementia. I have always enjoyed working with people and have missed that since retiring from nursing a few years ago. I love getting to know people, finding out their interests and hearing their life stories.
