I have always helping others. I became a certified nursing assistant when I was 16. I let my certification run out. I am currently working as a CNA. I love helping the elder and caring for them. I care for an elder lady. I believe being a caregiver is my calling

I have 6 years' experience in homecare. I love what I do. This is my calling which now is my passion. My patients appreciate the care I provide, and I give them the companionship they need. My scope of practice is to elevate the human spirit while they are in my care and to keep them safe while living at home.

I have been a CNA for 13.5 years . I'm a single mommy of 4 children, Ages 22,18,17,9 I have had private family experience for at least 6 years , i have also worked in facilities 2 years ,as well as Home care 10 + years i prefer home care because i can focused on that one specific patient one at a time . I am willing to help with any daily needs ,errands such as medicine pick ups ,grocery store runs ,household supplies etc. I am Hoping to further my career in nursing in the next month or so . I love and enjoy caring for others and helping families in surrounding area's of my location of Ellenboro ,NC I currently travel to shelby ,Nc Kings Mountain Nc Forest city Nc , Ellenboro Nc ,Mooresboro Nc, as well Gaffney Sc . I am a patient, dedicated and compassionate caregiver. I am a firm believer in caring for others the way I want my loved ones cared for. From my experience, memory care, dementia and the special needs clients are extra rewarding to work with. Every interaction matters and has the potential to make one feel better.

I would say my best personality trait is that I have a big heart. I have always been a caregiver, especially when it came to family. I currently work as a lead teacher in a daycare, I love my job so very much! I enjoy being surrounded by joy and love. I would say I love the connections you get with the family's is what I love the most. It's all about caring for the person and their family so they all feel heard :)

I possess several important personality traits and experiences that contribute to my role as a caregiver. Some common personality traits include compassion, empathy, patience, and the ability to establish trust. These traits enable me to connect with and understand the needs of the individuals I care for, allowing me to provide emotional support and maintain a positive environment.

What makes me a great caregiver would have to be my patience, compassion, consideration, empathy, attention to detail and my love for others. I treat others with the same respect that I would want. My mother was diagnosed with a savvier disorder for sleep apnea when I was only 4. 3 yrs later she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, nerve damage then formed from diabetes as well as sugar issues. 5 months later she was then diagnosed with lupus. She also had a fluid disorder, arthritis, obesity, blood disorder (polycythemia vera), She was never diagnosed but we believed she had formed dementia 1 yr before her death. I took on the responsibility of taking care of her at 17. When I was 18 she had to undergo a thrombectomy (surgery to remove blood clots). She had 1 1/2 gallons removed. When she came home I was her caretaker/caregiver for her surgery recovery. I took her to and from her appointments, helped her bath, fixed her meals, administered her medications and kept up with her medications and ran her errands. I would have to say this as well as the job I worked as a health aid has attracted me to be a great caregiver. I have also dealt with and still deal with epilepsy, My sister and my aunt have grandma seizures, my cousin has pseudoseizures ( not epileptic they are emotion stress induced). What I most enjoy is the one on one bond that you gain from the resident you are caring for. This type of job gives someone a nice sense of respect, It helps one gain more knowledge and helps family's in need of help to get that help. It takes a lot for someone to leave there loved one with a stranger, I gain a sense of respect and honesty to be trusted with this individual. A personal achievement that I am proud of would have to be taking care of my mom as well as being there for my sister, aunt, and cousin. There is a lot of health problems in my family and I am proud that I am the one that is able to help them.

I have two kids, a boy and a little girl. I have always worked in health care and I enjoy it. I love being there for others and helping them with daily life things. I have a bubbly personality and I love to turn someones bad day, good.
