Good Day, My name is Crystal and I'm 46 yrs old. Before my father and grandmother passed 11 years ago I helped take care of both my father and grandmother. My father had a liver and kidney disease while my grandmother had dementia and CPOD. Taking care of both my father and grandmother was a blessing. I enjoy been able to make someone happy, feel loved and that they are cared for when they need it the most. Been able to care for your love ones so you have a peace of mind they are getting their everyday needs met in their home.

My name is Angie Brown, I have experience working in skilled facilities and also assisted living. For the last few years I have been doing home health care. I love being able to help families out and hopefully make a difference, its a very rewarding feeling, I'm proud of the way i take care of my clients and treat them with respect and provide them with the best care possible, I am covid vaccinated and cpr certified.

Taking care of the elderly is my passion I like seeing my clients happy well loved and cared for, I've always been this way. If I can do this then I feel my Dad is looking down smiling and proud of me, I was blessed to be able to take care of him at home when he was diagnosed with Dementia until he passed. I have been a CNA for 15.5 years . I'm a single mommy of 5 children, Ages 23,19,18 ,10& 9 months I have had private family experience for at least 13 years , i have also worked in facilities 3 years ,as well as Home care 14 + years i prefer home care because i can focus on that one specific patient one at a time . I am willing to help with any daily needs ,errands such as medicine pick ups ,grocery store runs ,household supplies etc. I am Hoping to further my career in nursing in the next year . I love and enjoy caring for others and helping families in surrounding area's of my location of Ellenboro ,NC I currently travel to shelby ,Kings Mountain Forest city Nc , Ellenboro Nc ,Mooresboro Nc, as well Gaffney Sc . What makes me a great caregiver would have to be my patience, compassion, consideration, empathy, attention to detail and my love for others. I treat others with the same respect that I would want. My mother was diagnosed with a savvier disorder for sleep apnea when I was only 4. 3 yrs later she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, nerve damage then formed from diabetes as well as sugar issues. 5 months later she was then diagnosed with lupus. She also had a fluid disorder, arthritis, obesity, blood disorder (polycythemia vera), She was never diagnosed but we believed she had formed dementia 1 yr before her death. I took on the responsibility of taking care of her at 17. When I was 18 she had to undergo a thrombectomy (surgery to remove blood clots). She had 1 1/2 gallons removed. When she came home I was her caretaker/caregiver for her surgery recovery. I took her to and from her appointments, helped her bath, fixed her meals, administered her medications and kept up with her medications and ran her errands. I would have to say this as well as the job I worked as a health aid has attracted me to be a great caregiver. I have also dealt with and still deal with epilepsy, My sister and my aunt have grandma seizures, my cousin has pseudoseizures ( not epileptic they are emotion stress induced). What I most enjoy is the one on one bond that you gain from the resident you are caring for. This type of job gives someone a nice sense of respect, It helps one gain more knowledge and helps family's in need of help to get that help. It takes a lot for someone to leave there loved one with a stranger, I gain a sense of respect and honesty to be trusted with this individual. A personal achievement that I am proud of would have to be taking care of my mom as well as being there for my sister, aunt, and cousin. There is a lot of health problems in my family and I am proud that I am the one that is able to help them.
