Hello My name is Loretta, Some of my personality trait or expertise that help me be a Great Caregiver are: I am a people person, enjoy working and helping people of all ages. This has been my dream of working in the medical field since I was young. I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, Dr. Office and cared for people in their homes over 30 years. What attracted me to this field was I use to go to work with my mother when I was in Jr. High School caring for patient in a nursing home, and the Private clients in their homes. I have not only cared for Seniors, Some of my jobs was caring for Babies, Children with disabilities and needed a caregiver I enjoy the most most is giving my help and support and bring joy to my clients, letting them know that I am there for them. My personal achievements I am proud of is Knowing that I was a help to my clients, doing the job that was needed to the best of my ability, and assuring them that while I was there, they could feel safe and enjoy being with me as much as I am with them, leaving them at the end of the day in a great Mood.

My personality is that i'm a loving and caring person. I get along with everyone. I'm very friendly and love being around people whom I care for. I enjoy the smiles that I receive from my clients knowing/showing that they know that I care,

I am a reliable, friendly and loving person. Every person should be treated with love and care as if they are your family. I love helping people in anyway possible and being able to advocate for others that can't is what attracted me to being a caregiver.

I'm an upbeat and responsible sixty one year old woman. I'm compassionate and competent as a caregiver. I find it very rewarding to meet the needs of those who have a limited ability to manage on their own. In my personal life I'm proud to have raised two grown sons and now have the pleasure of enjoying two beautiful Granddaughters with whom I spend much of my free time.

I have been Working in healthcare for 7. I knew taking care of others was my calling when a close family member became ill with cancer and I took care of her up until she passed. Another reason I enjoy starting my homecare business is because I always wanted to be the one to take care of my grandmother. I believe everyone deserves a great caregiver. I understand it can be a hard process of allowing someone in your home and it may feel like you're losing your independence. I am here to make things easier and try to help you keep as much independence as possible.

Reality. The reality is, is that sometimes our most valued connections in life (family members or friends) aren't available at every waking second. We need to find other resources to help create new valued connections, like me! I have an extreme passion for being able to apply my skills and care into what I do day in and day out, and that serving people!! Whether or not somebody's looking for friend, somebody to help them to the bathroom, or help lift their spirits, I want to be that person! Being a medical caregiver requires more than just knowing how to do certain skills, it's about establishing a connection like no other with the person you are there to treat, heal, help over come illnesses or disabilities! Nothing would make me happier than allowing me to join and assist all of your needs with you and your family. I have a very personal relationship with palliative care and/or hospice healing. I was my mother's main caretaker when she was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Lung Cancer in early April 2017. I was her advocate. I lifted her up when she needed to be both physically and mentally. I listened to her, provided her professional medical care with anything that needed and/or required critical medical attention (which was often), but mostly I held her hand. Throughout the entire process the pain was hard, unbearable even, but I wouldn't give up. I know what it's like to be on both sides... The family member and the caretaker. But what I can empathize more with is being the actual patient. The relation to both parties is significant for me. I am feeling more than compelled to help out that special family that needs it. If anyone gets it, it's me. One of my favorite questions: "how can I help you?"

After many long years of working directly with people in diverse professional settings back then in the day ;when I was used to be a certified nurse assistance CNA from state of California, where I had gained all the experienced dealing & taken care of all types of geriatric residents in the nursing homes of settings & Private home care . Therefore here are the top 5 lists I always have ; 1. Excellent verbal & written communication ; strong communication skill in order to communicate effectively with doctors & nurses. 2. Empathy & compassion ; vital qualities that are extension of interpersonal skills when working with senior residents . 3. Ability to follow set rules and protocols 4. Time management & organizational skills often work with limited supervision ; file paperwork & report in timely manner. 5. Astute observation skills ; which is observing residents day to day physical & mental health at all the times . Fully strong sense of awareness in the client's environment to ensure safety. The only thing that I really enjoy being a care giver are I have a great compassion , pleasant with very positive of attitudes ,very caring person and I really like to help others. I am a mother of six. Work in nursing homes for 10 years now work in a psychiatric hospital been there for 18 years love doing what I do. I am a good person as in listening and helping others. I live for recovery of helping as much as I can. Before i work in nursing home I was a teacher's aid in daycares. I just enjoy people. Very hard working person and cares alot about people.
